Hotel charges £ 1,00 to store luggage. I have never been charged for this before - in any hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at LGH . Staff was very friendIy and attentive . Mohamed at front desk has provided exceptional service ensuring the comfort of the hotel guest . He arranged to do room change as complained about poor internet . It's walking distance from major market places & undergroubd tube and bus.

Everything was in order. Breakfast was good. Location is good. Friendly and helpful staff. No surprises.

Great hotel Staff very friendly & helpful to tourists Location is very close to restaurants & public transportation

Very helpful friendly staff Great location easy access to public transportation I would come back to Lancaster Gate

Clean, good staff, decent location and good price. Lacks some comforts of US hotels, including size, bed quality, and room amenities. Other than that a good value.

Had a great overnight stay, staff was efficient and informative. Location is great on tube and bus lines, close to Notting Hill which is great for a wander and evening meal, Hyde Park across the street and a easy walk to Regents Park and Buck Palace. Room was just as advertised, clean, nice bath (tub was high up) overall fine for our purposes.. Did not have breakfast here as they wanted 10 pound per head, found a nice bakery next to the tube station and snacked and people watched instead

great stay, good room. located not too far from grocery, laundry, train (tube) stations, few restaurants. Be warned, the wireless internet is expensive, about 20 pounds ($30) a day! Other than the internet, everything was great.

The room was small (although by european standards was functional.) The room was warm and unable to cool off well, I was there in May and if it hadn't rained so much I don't know if I would have been able to stay in that room and be confortable. The location was good, very close to paddington station, although I think for me it was a little too far to walk. The tube is close and the staff was very helpful in arranging excursions.

Very disappointed, [...] but despite being a Brit I am always reminded how much better US hotels are. The pictures of the rooms are extremely deceiving, they are tiny rooms - the clerk argued with me that I didn't book for breakfast when I knew I had but had forgotten my paperwork back in the US. Most important mistake was the lack of a wakeup call despite being double verified that we were in the system for a 3am call to get to Heathrow in time. Front desk simply put it down to a phone error but were quite able to call us for our 4am taxi. The best part of this hotel was the Breakfast at a small Panini joint round the corner and an excellent pint and food round the corner (Lienstein Arms?..(sp?)

We stayed one night to attend a concert at Royal Albert Hall which is a pleasant 15-20 min walk through Hyde Park. Our room was recently renovated and a good size for London. We would definitely stay again.

Great location to train and bus stations. Close to Kensington Gardens, food and shops. Hotel had a nice breakfast - we booked through a popular travel website and our breakfast was included. Staff was friendly but gave us a lot of misinformation about tours and other small pieces of info. Internet service was a disappointment. Other than that...room was nice, clean and cozy. They will hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in. In our case we were checked-in early. That was super nice!

The Park Inn hotel is located off a main street, but a short walk to bus and the Tube stations, making it easy to get around. It's also a short walk to Kensington Park. The room was small by comparison to what we're used to in the States, but it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a computer in the lobby with free internet access. The only downside was no closet space in our room.

I thought the Park Inn was a great hotel. The location was absolutely perfect. We took the underground everywhere we wanted to go. It was a short walk to Lancaster gate and Kensington Park. The rooms were clean. Our first room did not have the amount of beds we requested. The hotel moved our belongings to a new room the next day (they had no open rooms the first night). So it worked out. Plus our first beds were rock hard. The beds in the next room were more comfortable. There is construction going on across the street at the moment. It wasn't intolerable, but it was noticable. All of this was totally worth it for the price and location.

We spent the week in London celebrating an anniversary. The hotel was very good. Nice staff, convenient location, good breakfast and very nice rooms. The beds were firm (which we liked) and the bathroom clean and up to date. We are considering trips to other parts of the United Kingdom in the future and will try and stay at one of their hotels if we can. Only negative was construction noise across the street in the morning which hopefully will end soon.

When the first thing the desk attendant says is "If you don't like the room, we can change it" BEWARE! We we're first taken to a lower floor room that had just been painted and the fumes almost knocked us out. The next room had a broken chair, glass broken out of framed art and was on the floor, mold in the bath, the vent was off the ceiling air duct and you could see into the crawl space, the side of the tub was just a sheet of plastic which was dented in and cracked, and the room had a dirty ash tray in a "non smoking" room, etc.. They asked us to leave our luggage and they would move us to a third room so we could get on with our day. We we're hopeful as we walked through a very loud construction site to the tube. Upon our return we found the room to at least clean but the room was smaller, even by European standard, and it still smelled of smoke. We asked an employee about this and they said that the floor was indeed a smoking floor. When confronted the desk said that they had no suitable rooms available anywhere else. Since we had prepaid the room to get a discounted rate we just put up with it as it was only 3 days before moving on to Paris. Incidentally, Our Paris room was amazing! It is not all of Europe as some may say, it is just this hotel that sucks! We wouldn't stay there again if it was free!

The hotel was very nice right around the corner from Hyde Park. Although, they were doing construction right across the street, we weren't affected by the noise as we stayed on the weekend. The staff was very nice, even provided me with a free cup of coffee, eventhough I didn't purchase breakfast at the hotel. They also had a very nice lift. Our rooms were ready before check-in time and checking in was very smooth. It was a lovely experience.

Hotel was ideally located just one block north of Hyde Park not too far from two tube stops on Central line and near Kensington Palace and Paddington Station. Room was large for UK/Europe. Much larger than our hotel roome in France, but decore was a little outdated, compared to hotel in France. Hotel was very reasonably priced as we got a orbitz hot deal. Would recommend hotel, but as always depending on price.

This hotel is between two tube stops along the Central Line serving theaters and close to grocery stores, restaurants, banks, hair salons, and a post office. Hyde and Kensington Parks are within walking distance, and I am 70 years old. I attended the Proms and found that taxi fares were inexpensive to and from the Albert Hall. The staff ordered a car service as soon as I needed a ride. I arrived late one night that they were fully booked and got an average room on the ground floor. They happily let me look at a room on an upper floor the next day, and I moved and spent a lovely week in that room. I've never seen staff so happy to be at work.
