Great hotel. Had cheesecake from stabucks in hotel that made us sick.

Other than the fire alarm in the middle of the night the hotel was very comfortable with a very accommodating staff

Good location, fine hotel. Hallways and rooms seem a bit old.

very nice stay. good time. highly recomend. will stay again soon

This is my fifth visit to Grosvenor House with a year, it's my favorite hotel in London. The location just could not get any better, I'm at a walking distance from every where I want to go to in London, including Oxford st., Regent st., Oxford and piccadilly circus, Leicester square, Knights bridge .. etc. The park room is perfect for an afternoon tea, or if one prefer there's a Starbucks at the hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the one missing was a Nespresso machine :) Some of the rooms doesn't have the best view, but you can always ask for a park view.

Nice historic property - clean quiet rooms and friendly staff. Only complaint is there is FREE wifi in the Lobby but not the rooms?? Very odd!!

Four of us traveled for Spring Break. We loved our rooms, the quiet yet vibrant hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with transportation and reservations. Food in the restaurants was delicious and fast.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are well appointed and lovely. The restaurant is very good. While the restaurant and cleaning staff was very nice and accommodating, the front desk was inexperienced, not handling a small "crisis" -- middle of the night false fire alarms -- at all well. Could have been because it was a weekend. Nevertheless, we expected more from the frontline staff of a 5 star hotel.

Loved the hotel and the room. They charger you for every little thing tho. some of the charges were a bit much.

My husband's Texas-based company opened a London office almost two years ago. This was the third trip in as much time that I have been "invited" to accompany him to the U.K. We were again scheduled to stay near his office by Trafalgar Square, but after three nights at a gloomy, cold yet well-located hotel, I began checking out other options for the second-half of the week. After about an hour on the computer, I took advantage of an amazing deal and moved us to the JW Marriott Grosvenor's House in Mayfair. My husband had not had the luxury of doing much touring on previous trips, but as an avid walker determined to see all of London, I knew the area and was sure that the hotel would better suit our expectations. When he walked into the lobby, he was thrilled! As he put it, it combined my love of history with his appreciation for clean and well-restored. The lobby was beautiful - fireplace, classical music, warm woods accented by traditional colors and fabrics - and the staff was pleasant and accomodating. Our room was cozy and well appointed, and very cheery by contrast to our previous accomodations. Very clean. The marble bathroom was luxurious and the rain shower was a treat, especially after a winter's day of walking the city. (The mattress was in need of replacement.) We were walking distance from all the shopping and restaurants, and with a bit more ambition, we were easily back near many historical sights. We have found our new London digs!

We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. the concierge was the nicest guy and very helpful, no matter the question. The room was nice, very large and very clean, although the central air tended to be either too hot or too cold. otherwise, no complaints. We had a Great stay!!

Nice hotel in ritzy Marfair section of London. Large rooms by European standards and close to Oxford street shops. Several blocks from Marble Arch tube stop, but I doubt if many of the patrons of this hotel use the tube. Taxis are plentiful and always at the door. Food is expensive, even at the "petit cafe." Tea in the Park Room was great (and not to be missed), but was not cheap. If there are only two of you, reserve a table next to the window. Bottom line is that this is a nice hotel with large rooms in the best section of London. Most tourist spots are a short taxi ride away.

We loved our stay here. It was low key but luxurious. The front desk staff was particularly nice and professional. Beds were delicious! The only negative was the tube is a little further than is preferable. They say 5 minutes....but taxis are readily available and the tube has gotten $ compared to the dollar. I also left my sunglasses in the room and they were turned in by the cleaning staff. (who were also very pleasant). I have already recommended this hotel and would LOVE to come back!

The hotel was perfect in every way. I can not think of anything that would be an improvement. The hotel itself had wonderful service and the location could not have been better.

The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Piccadilly, Knightsbridge, etc. The lounge was open late and had good, light food and beverages/liquor. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The bathroom has a great shower and plush bathrobes. The best part was the bed and linens. Very comfortable and luxurious.

Had to build a 'wall' on the floor with towels as the shower water would otherwise flood under bathroom door!
