After a long flight we took the free train from terminal 5 to terminal 2. It was convenient to be able to walk to the hotel when we arrived at terminal 2. Check in was friendly and efficient and the room was modern and very clean. While there was a kettle, tea and instant coffee packets, it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. We ordered room service for dinner and had fish and chips and the steak and ale pie and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Service was efficient and very friendly. Both meals were very good and generous portions. Checkout at noon was convenient and allowed us extra time to repackage our bags for our next overseas flight at 3pm. While the room was pricey it was a relaxing stay and worth it for the convenience.

The waitress wasn't very attentive and never let us know it was the end of her shift. We asked to see a dinner menu several times and finally got one. The check in clerks were excellent. Finding our way to terminal 3 was an adventure!
