I had a great stay at the Novotel, I was with a colleague and we were both very happy, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very modern and clean, we used the gym, sauna and steam room as well. We went to the restaurant and had a five star service with George serving us, he also made our pizzas for us, they were delicious. Breakfast is also very good with a good variety of juices, fresh bread, pastries, hot and cold food.

The staff were very nice, helpful, efficient and everything was ready when we arrived. Good breakfast and lovely room, clean and very comfortable, loved the bathroom mirrored door, shower etc, good lighting, we had all we needed. Well done, enjoyed the stay.

This was my first stay at an Accor hotel since becoming a LeClub Gold member. Checkin was great, once the manager took over from the trainee - he apologised for not being able to do a room upgrade since I'd requested two twin rooms, but was really helpful, asking what time I wanted my late checkout, even uttering the words "anything for a gold member"! The four free welcome drinks for my family and I were greatly appreciated too. Rooms were spotless, bed comfortable, bathroom well-appointed, just like any other UK Novotel I've stayed in - nice side view over the docks too. Location was slightly awkward, though Uber easily fixes that, and they apparently have a free shuttle to Canary Wharf sometimes too. Only downer, bottled water in the room, £2.50 a bottle which you could buy at the shop opposite the hotel for 39p. If you can't be bothered to run a minibar and serve just four bottles of water, how about instead just giving guests a couple of bottles, eh? Would certainly stay here again.

I have stayed in many hotels in London and really enjoyed this hotel. From the point of checking in found the staff friendly nothing was too much trouble i even asked for more milk for the room as i ran out, this was greated with a smile and a handful of milk cartons. Breakfast was well stocked, staff attentive and had every choice you could you needed for breakfast food of good quality. The room itself was quiet as this is in a really quiet part of town, clean and had everything you require including a comfy bed!!! There is a tesco express close by and also close to the DLR line only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Thanks for a great stay and pass on my thanks to your staff for an enjoyable stay.

Great value for money. Stayed 3 nights whilst exhibiting at ExCel which is right next door. Bar and breakfast area nice, room clean and well kept. Only criticism was that bed sloped down on right hand side and milk wasn't replaced for coffee each day. Would stay again if going to ExCel.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, over the last 2 years. The rooms have always been very clean, comfortable, modern and on general quite luxurious. The breakfast is very good, with no complaints. The real star of the show though is Levi, who works on the front desk. He truly is an asset to the hotel, as he always delivers the most amazing, friendly, warmed smiled service I have ever had! Levi seems to go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is of a top standard, no matter what the issue, or not. Based on how great my stays have been and Levi's amazing service, I would most definitely stay again and would recommend the hotel to all!

The best parts were the local bar with George from Romania working there and the convenience of being close to the Excel. George made our entire corporate working group feel very welcome. We returned many evening because of him. Proximity to Excel also a plus. Bus small rooms and especially the WC were an problem. Also the airplane noise from nearby city airport is awful if you need sleep. Sound proof windows are really needed.

Lovely room. Very comfortable beds and all the mod cons you would expect in a modern city centre hotel. The bar is funky and well stocked and the staff are really attentive. Food in the restaurant is tasty if a little overpriced. The hotel does have a gym and sauna but no pool which is a shame. Great for business if you are attending a trade show at London excel.

I stayed at this hotel due to flight cancellation. I had really good night stay here. Spacious and clean room and.....super delish foods. Ooohhh boy was really good!!! My decision to stay for a night was paid off! Excellent!!!

Stayed at the Novotel whilst attending New Scientist Live and the location is fantastic for ExCeL. The room was really modern and clean with a fabulous shower! There are lots of choices for food with a good choice of buffet for breakfast, a new pizza bar and restaurant. Room service was really quick too which was appreciated at the end of a long day. A small thing but so many hotels don't have a plug next to the bed and my room did. Hurrah! Staff were all really friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be back next year.
