location, location, location. lovely hotel and very well located to see London
Close proximity to walking thru London’s main neighborhood s
central location, excellent service. The rug in the room could have been a little more updated/cleaner.
Very convenient to Underground stations. Very quiet at night.
My husband and I booked this hotel for Christmas week, because we had walked through the lobby six years ago, when staying at the hotel next door. The desk clerk, Natalie, couldn’t have been more welcoming, warm, and informative. While we were many hours before check in, she secured us a room immediately. We couldn’t get in the room with what we thought was either a key problem or someone was in the room still with chain lock secured. Natalie immediately volunteered to talk to her supervisor, and, then accompanied us to our room to assess the problem. It turned out that we were pulling door, rather than pushing door to get in. Instead of copping an attitude and blaming us, she normalized the problem and eventually wrote us a note apologizing for the problem. It was really our responsibility for not trying to push the door in rather than pull it out. There was no shaming and that’s a big deal to us. Our room was extremely clean and attractive, with a very comfortable bed. And, the soundproofing is excellent. We heard virtually nothing in hallways or the rooms next to us. We had to check out four days early due to a death in the family. The staff with whom we dealt with In this crisIs were compassionate and helpful. This hotel will be our go-to in London. Many thanks to its staff!
We lose our daughter toy dog in the hotel but nobody called us if they have find something.
Perfect location. Unfortunately I was placed in a handicap room that smelled very strongly of smoke. Toilet didn’t flush, fixed twice and although I opted to “go green” and have room cleaned every other day... they actually never care. When called for a room change or cleaning they were unable to make any changes. For the amount I paid and the fact I was staying there for 4 nights I would think they would be more accommodating. Other than this the location was absolutely perfect.
Location was convenient. Room was overpriced, moldy bathroom, no view, in need of a renovation. Very disappointing.
Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Staff were very helpful & informative.
We thought the hotel was very nice overall, but the housecleaning service was spotty. No bath mat one day, no washcloths another day, no refilling of kleenex and toilet tissue another day.
We had an awesome time. The staff was awesome, Ibrahim and Damir was exceptional attentive.
The decor is strange. A giant image of a strange looking woman's face covered the entire closet wall. She was constantly staring. Staff in the dining room and bar were unfriendly. All but 4 looked as if they hated their jobs, were in fear of oppressive management, or wanted to be elsewhere. The breakfast procedures are rigid and inflexible. I just wanted to have a cup of tea while reading a newspaper in the bar. Getting one took nearly an act of Parliament. I would not stay here again. It is austere and unfriendly.
This was theeeee best place to stay for a 1st timer to London. Great customer service, friendly staff at check in & at restaurants. Coffee on site, multiple dining spots, late night eats all in house. Soooo close to Eye, Tower Bridge. Quick car ride to Soho & all other great eating spots we had on the agenda. Rooms were spacious. Loved this hotel & would highly recommend as well as return to this property! Thanks for the hospitality
This hotel was in a great location. Easy walk to all of the sites I wanted to see. Being near Big Ben , even though it was being repaired, was an easy marker for location of the hotel. The hotel was gorgeous and the staff very helpful.
I liked the central location... very close walking distance to many attractions. Very good restaurant in hotel as well as within walking distance!
