Amba Hotel Marble Arch

The location of this hotel is good. However, the room was dirty (stained sheets, dirty bathroom floor, and long dark hairs everywhere!). The check in process was a hassle as well. Front desk employees did not seem to know how to do their job.

I enjoy staying in this hotel mainly for location. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Cleaning needs more work but I think this is due to number of rooms comparing to working staff.

Everything was great and the staff was too friendly. Also, the bar tenders which were on shift on the 22nd were amazingly friendly. One bigbiaaue ia the bed sheets... Moat of their bed sheets needs to be replaced as they have wine stain on them which the laundry can't remove it. Otherwise all was excellent.

The Thistle Marble Arch is a wonderful place. The staff is warm and accommodating. The WIFI there was on/off. My husband got very frustrated trying to deal with it. The fire alarm started screaming so we had to walk down 7 floors to evacuate which wasn't easy for two 70 year old guests. After waiting on the streets for about 1/2 hour, it was determined to be a false alarm. The alarm went off another time but only for a few seconds. They need to fix it. We liked the convenient snack bar.

Excellent hotel ! Great Location ! Nice service ! Very comfortable and large rooms. Great Wifi. Liked their restaurant too. It is near many attractions with nice restaurants and shopping close by. Many tours depart from here. Loved our stay and will surely stay here again in the future.

The hotel is nice I always stay tgere uts near from everything....cz its un the central....7 th floor is a nice room with the lounge in the 2 nd flooe where u can use anytime at the day.i like the hotel overall

cool city and great place to stay and really good value for money

This is one of the best locations you can imagine in town, so go for it and you won't go wrong

We stayed here for 3 days of shopping, sightseeing, and theatre. Entrance is one block of Oxford about a 2 minute walk to Selfridge' s and other major stores. Two block walk to Hyde Park for running and less to the Marble Arch central linetube for getting to Leicester square and Piccadilly circus etc for shows. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The only negative was the gym is small. My wife and I will stay here again when we return.

Hotel had all broken ice machines. When calling the service desk 2 times for ice waited one hour for ice. Went to dinner at hotel restaurant with 6 other people. Restaurant was 3/4 empty, however, we waited close to one hour before receiving any food. Had to locate the server on our own.

hotel was under renovations which it needed badly. there was to much outside functions in the hotel like wedding, business meeting and parties. rooms were far from elevators. would not recommend. resturant in hotel has limited menu and the wait for the food was to long.

Nice hotel with a perfect location... the hotel style is old but there's a renewing plan for the hotel, 8th and 7th floor already has been renewed.

The location is perfect ....They r friendly ...loved it

Overall good .The bathroom facilities not in the best condition(the water in the bathtub would not drain)

A beautiful hotel conveniently located close to the major stores on Oxford street. The check-in was very smooth; because of my early arrival I couldn't get into the room right away, but the room was ready when I returned at the suggested time. Staff was very helpful, and the housekeeping staff were quick & efficient I had to return to my room about 90 minutes after I had left and the room was already made up. Breakfast was not included in my rate, but Patisserie Valerie is a couple of block away for a great breakfast. I would stay her again.

Our room was in desperate need of renovation - the furniture was very beat up! The shower head fell off while I was taking a shower! On the plus side, the lobby was very nice and the beds were super soft and comfortable. The location was great - right off Oxford Street and VERY close to the tube.

My room was extremely clean, spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable! There were all of the amenities that I needed such as hairdryer, refrigerator, coffee/teapot, ironing board and room safe. It was nice to have food available in the bar late at night on Sunday as nobody in town was serving food on Sunday night. Helpful staff, coffee and pastry shop in the lobby, Loved this hotel!

The hotel was not that good, the lifts were out of order. The rooms and towels were not clean, the rooms are too small you can even turn or twist in the room.

The hotel offer very good location with nice amenities. The standard rooms are small, but the excucutive rooms offer good size. Good value for the money.

Location of the very excellent beginning of Oxford Street shopping and nearby of Allbeckadley for Nightlife and bars downright accommodation for it again Thanks to everyone who nominated me hotel
