Had a great time breakfast was great, the was clean and the staff was friendly

A bit of a walk from the tube but buses nearby can get you there quickly. Hotel was great, enjoyed our stay.

Overall the Clayton Crown is a pleasant and fairly-well appointed N London hotel. While the common areas are pleasant, the rooms and furnishings are quite dilapidated, scuffed and worn and in need of a refresh and update. The thermostat regulators in our and other guest's rooms (by report) did not function properly - one of the staff admitted was a known problem. The gym is well equipped though overheated making for a stifling work-out. The upper floor rooms are quiet. Over priced for rather mediocre accommodation.

Room was small for two people. Staff was super friendly. Location was great. Pub was awesome.

The hotel is quite charming and comfortable, We also liked the location quite different from other boring areas where we have stayed. People live and shop there, it is diverse and lively. The buses and underground are convenient. Our ride to heathrow was easy and affordable. One issue for us was the 2pm checking time which was rough for us since we had to go directly to a meeting and had no opportunity to change. Another small issue was that our room was right on the swimming pool which was usually quiet unless staff (early Monday) or swimmers (in the pm) were right outside our door talking and for the kids running in the hallway. But it was not a big problem. The staff was really nice and useful. WIFI excellent.

Hotel was good as overall, disappointed with swimming pool - not clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Crown for 13 nights. The room was clean, comfortable and has enough space. The bathroom wasn't small and was very clean. The Wifi in our room was fast and I had no problem getting online. They also have a very nice indoor, heated swimming pool, which opens from 7 am to 10 pm. My boyfriend went swimming almost every night since he loves it so much. The gym was OK, kinda small, but it seems like nobody was there most of the time. The breakfast at the hotel is not free, about 10 pounds each, so we just went to the bakery on the other side of the street which only cost us 6 pounds for both of us. The location of this hotel is about 30 min bus ride away from central London (longer if there were a traffic jam), 5 min bus ride to the underground station. The bus stop is right outside of the hotel, and the buses run all the time. I wouldn't say its location is bad, but kinda in the residential area which seemed to be pretty safe to me, and lots of local shops nearby. We found a couple pubs nearly that were really good and cheap. Their price is almost half of what they charge in the tourist places. The beer in the pubs was very good, too. If you want to experience the local life in London, I would recommend you to stay here since it is cheaper.

We had a wonderful stay at Crown Moran. The pub next door was a lot of fun. The modern hotel with all the conveniences allowed us to sleep in peace and comfort. The best.

Beautiful hotel with a history and bigger than average sized rooms for UK. While breakfast wasn't included, WIFI was, and that can save you 10-15 BPs a day right there. With an online coupon, I think I paid about $105 per night, including all the extra taxes and fees. I never heard noise from other guests, even when large celebrations were taking place in the lounges. Any bus that stops (literally feet in front of the hotel front door), will take you down the road to Kilburn Station. I was at the Green Park stop (Buckingham Palace) in about 27 minutes all-tolled. Neighborhood appears a little dicey at first, but well lit after dark. I'm a single woman and was able to walk the 1.5 miles back from the train station, after a night tour. I wasn't impressed with the pool, but I didn't miss it, too much else to do. Nice fitness center. Wish there was a small refrigerator in the room.

Service at this hotel is definitely just as previous reviews have described it, amazing! Super friendly at checkout and understanding of my necessity for my room ASAP (especially after that 10 hour long trans atlantic flight). The room was impeccably clean, with sheets and towels replaced everyday. And don't get me started on the bathroom, impeccably clean and sparkling! They were also quick and kind to accommodate any needs I had or answer any questions about activities in London or transport on how to get to the city. Absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be staying there again!

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. The staff was as helpful as they could be but from the start of our trip to this hotel we had problems. Their system was down and we had to wait for an hour before being checked in, the rooms are a maze to find, and the cards didn't work properly for the doors. When we finally got everything taken care of the room was quite nice and we enjoyed our stay. This is on the last stop of Zone 2 for the underground so going further north to the train station requires an extra fee. All and all we enjoyed our stay but would not return. The area for homes is nice but it is a very cultural area compared to downtown London.

The neighborhood wasn't too bad, but if you walk toward the Kilburn area, it gets better. Granted, there was a lot of construction going on while we were there. It is NOT a short walk from the tube station, even though we did walk to the tube a few times. It is good exercise and if you aren't alone, it is actually enjoyable. Took about 15 minutes or so to get there. In the evenings we took a mini cab to the hotel as it seemed to far to walk at night (being ladies). The staff was WONDERFUL! Very friendly and engaging. I felt very taken care of. For international travelers, they will provide you with a converter for your electronics if you don't have one available. They also switched my room for me with no trouble, because I wasn't satisfied with "the view". There is a pub right downstairs so no need to always go out and party and you can safely get to your room. LOL! It really is beautiful on the inside and I consider it to be a gem among the rough. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again and recommend. Good price, good hotel, good staff.

I really enjoyed my visit here good location, quiet 10 mins walk to train to london & bus stop right outside as well as clean room & amenity.

The location is tops as there is a bus-stop outside the hotel with every bus going to the underground station 5 minutes away. Having an indoor pool with a teenager was amazing. The staff were very friendly and obliging but the information they gave out was not always accurate and they did not understand requests properly as English is not their mother tongue. I would definitely stay there again.

Very good experience. Good staff, very polite and efficient. Neat environment. Will use this hotel again, subject to good price, of course.

The staff was warm and welcoming every day we were there.
