The Grand at Trafalgar Square

Great location, facility well maintained, staff helpful.

This hotel was about a 3-4 minute walk from the Charing Cross station right at Trafalgar Square. (It was about equidistant to the Embankment station as well.) The staff was INCREDIBLY polite and made us feel special. The room was a little on the small side, but not unexpectedly or disappointingly so. From our window, we could see the Eye, and just catch a glimpse of Big Ben. Rooms was clean and we had no problems or complaints at all during our stay. We had a mini-fridge, safe (large enough for laptops), wifi and cable TV. We didn't take advantage of any amenities like spa, gym, or restaurants, so I can't speak to those. I wouldn't not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice but food is lacking for the price especially breakfast!! Pizza restaurant is good.

Ideal location- absolutely great stay. Stored bags as we arrived at 7:30am and did their best to get us a room ASAP. By noon we had a room! Tube is very close, Convent Gardens, great for shops and places to eat Regent street -Palace and Piccadilly Circus all east Walk!

Location is superb, walking distance to so much. Only have good things to say about this hotel, its staff, and it’s rooms.

The hotel Is really nice. Our room was really small but it was clean and the location is great. The laundry machines on the 3rd floor were a nice feature that we definitely used.

Even for London central the room was minuscule and the bathroom a closet. It was clean. The queen mattress was a bit lumpy. The staff was largely absent. No luggage help arriving or departing. Front desk manager was polite but lacking in any help. There are so many other choices that outshine this hotel. For the money I was shocked at the level of indifference about our stay or comfort.

100 yards from Trafalgar Sqaure. Makes it a perfect hub for sightseeing. Clean (although smallish) well set up rooms with actual working AC!

Very nice all around. Friendly staff and very comfortable rooms.

Loved almost everything, didn't much like being on floor 5 1/2 - but no other issues. Immaculate room, very comfortable bed, larger than I expected. But the location made the difference, able to walk to Trafalgar - 2 min, same distance to 2 very useful tube stops, 5 pubs within walking distance, and 5 theaters within 10 minute easy walks. Had 2 restaurants but didn't try either - too many other choices. Already planning my next trip, and will definitely stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay, tree-lined streets, I think everybody will love it

Everything is close, underground, restaurants, attractions, and nice streets to walk around.

Very close walking distance to everything. Perfect

Nice hotel and great location. Everything was as it should be but the TV was hard to watch from bed and the A/C didn't work in the room. It would have been nice to have a bit more room around the bed and another luggage rack or place to put a second piece of luggage.

We spent two nights here last week. Everything was great except housekeeping didn't replace things like glasses, soap, etc. Very minor first world complaint, I know! Overall, highly recommend and for the price, I don't think you can beat it!

Walking distance to other areas including Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben ... Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Great eateries nearby!

We only used the restaurant once (for a reason) and they did not have a concierge on staff so staff were able to help with hotel items but nothing to help in the City. It really is the perfect location and great restaurants all around the hotel so these items didn't impact our stay. Can't say enough how perfectly located it was ~ convenient to everything. Very clean but housekeeping turned heat off each day so when we got back to the room, it took 20 minutes to warm back up again.

This hotel is very centrally located near many of the tourist attractions in the Wesminster area. Would absolutely recommend it for that reason alone. But it is also a very nice hotel to boot.

The room was small (we expected that) and there were no frills (no minibar -unexpected). The TV was great.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Room nice, comfortable, and clean. Fridge and microwave available if you take left over food back to the hotel. Great stay.
