The Grand at Trafalgar Square

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Loved almost everything, didn't much like being on floor 5 1/2 - but no other issues. Immaculate room, very comfortable bed, larger than I expected. But the location made the difference, able to walk to Trafalgar - 2 min, same distance to 2 very useful tube stops, 5 pubs within walking distance, and 5 theaters within 10 minute easy walks. Had 2 restaurants but didn't try either - too many other choices. Already planning my next trip, and will definitely stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay, tree-lined streets, I think everybody will love it

Everything is close, underground, restaurants, attractions, and nice streets to walk around.

Very close walking distance to everything. Perfect

Nice hotel and great location. Everything was as it should be but the TV was hard to watch from bed and the A/C didn't work in the room. It would have been nice to have a bit more room around the bed and another luggage rack or place to put a second piece of luggage.

We spent two nights here last week. Everything was great except housekeeping didn't replace things like glasses, soap, etc. Very minor first world complaint, I know! Overall, highly recommend and for the price, I don't think you can beat it!

Walking distance to other areas including Picadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben ... Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Great eateries nearby!

We only used the restaurant once (for a reason) and they did not have a concierge on staff so staff were able to help with hotel items but nothing to help in the City. It really is the perfect location and great restaurants all around the hotel so these items didn't impact our stay. Can't say enough how perfectly located it was ~ convenient to everything. Very clean but housekeeping turned heat off each day so when we got back to the room, it took 20 minutes to warm back up again.

This hotel is very centrally located near many of the tourist attractions in the Wesminster area. Would absolutely recommend it for that reason alone. But it is also a very nice hotel to boot.

The room was small (we expected that) and there were no frills (no minibar -unexpected). The TV was great.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Room nice, comfortable, and clean. Fridge and microwave available if you take left over food back to the hotel. Great stay.

Hotel is strategically located to easily get all over London. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a lot bigger than expected and was very clean and comfortable. Loved the purified water provided. Definitely would stay here again.

Really bad. Terrible. Other than the location, it's the worst, period.

there is always a better hotel that will have more luxury feel. This place was efficient to be a central place for exploration and to get good rest. very business oriented.

The best hotel. Great experience and a congenial hotel.

Not 4 stars, staff while friendly were completely untrained to handle a false fire alarm at 4am which went on/off for an hr. Next morning there was no apology, eg note under door, or any attempt to make amends

This hotel is great for visiting London. It is in the perfect location, walking distance to most things. The rooms were nice and clean.

Hotel was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Good value for the money, laundry on site, and fast internet connection. Only downside was that the room was a little on the small side, but it was bearable for a few days.

best time in London ever, the location is perfect and the staff speaks many languages

good location, helpful staff, but problem with heat in the room, none on gcold fall day
