surpassing expectations!!! Good customer service. Location, location, location!!!

Due to Covid-19 the hotel manager did not appear to be very nice. We had to leave early due to no fly zone implemented on Monday, so we had to leave on Sunday. He questioned this although it was national news. Conceirge was accommodating and very nice. Room super small with 2 beds very uncomfortable.

A very nice place to stay, with an amazing location. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

So the hotel itself is wonderful. Great lobby, bar/lounge and restaurant. The rooms left a lot to be desired. At first we were in a room where you could not fully stand in the shower. You literally had to hang your head out to shampoo because there was this weird ledge thing jutting out into the tub. So the 2nd day there we moved our room. So now there was nothing jutting out of the tub, but if someone doesn't break a leg or a hip getting in and out of that tub, I will be shocked. It was literally a huge step to get in and out. Then the room itself was about the size of a prison cell (no exaggeration). And we were now facing the wall of another bldg. and an alley. The beds were comfy and the AC was great. The TV was WAYYYY too small for how it was on the other side of the room. You could barely see it. Location was great, close to tube and Hyde Park. Great Italian restaurant down the street and a couple of pubs right next door.

Location is great. It’s a 2 min walk to the Lancaster Gate station and under 10 min walk to the paddington station from where you can get the Heathrow express to the airport. There’s restaurants nearby for a quick dinner. It’s right across from Hyde park and on a nice day, you can do a leisurely walk (30 mins) across the park to Victoria and Albert museum, which we did. The room was nice and space was ok for two people. The bathroom is small and the shower is tiny. It’s about 2 feet across and my teenage son and I are fairly slim but still found it a little claustrophobic. The toilet flush is old fashioned and you have to wait 7-8 mins before the tank refills and you can flush it again. But, it’s good enough for the purpose and we hardly spent any time in the room so it was comfortable for us. We did dinner at the restaurant next door, the swan. I wish we could’ve tried another one nearby called Mitre. It looked nice. Keep in mind, everything closes around 11-11:30. I didn’t find any pubs nearby that stayed open later than that. It’s a quiet area. The front desk is very helpful and I’m so glad we had our room ready at 9:30 am when we arrived. I did give them a heads up via email that I would be arriving in the morning, since their check-in time is usually 3 pm.

Rooms need refrigerators. Otherwise, room was pleasant and adequate. Some noise from near-by pub with late night musical performances. Full English breakfast--very good. Very attentive serving staff, a couple in particular are stand-outs, but all are good. One serving lady, Nitat, very friend, efficient, and speaks multiple languages. Hotel couldn't be better located--just across the street from Hyde Park, near Marble Arch and Oxford Street shopping, easy bus and tube transport.

Great location- close to Kensington Gardens, bus and underground

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent we were able to get every where in the city easily. So looking forward to coming back.
