Expensive for what it is an Express Plenty parking on site Breakfast usual and ok A Sainsbury store next door for food shopping if you want Not too many other food outlets nearby and you would need to drive
The location is indeed a bit far from city center, but we were there for working at Excel center, so the driving distance was shorter. All services provided by the hotel are very pleasant and cheerful, we enjoyed very much our stay!
My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and included air conditioning. Although we overlooked the North Circular Road this was not an issue because of the double glazing. Breakfast selection was very good and tasty. Will certainly use Holiday Inn Express again!
I stay here regularly, easy for parking, easy to walk to most places. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Gym is small but ok, pool is alright. The breakfast is preferable to the dinners, bar staff are always nice. Rooms are ok.
Visited for a local sporting event. Very welcoming reception lady, gave advice on local places to eat and getting around. Room a good size, very comfy bed, best air conditioning we have ever experienced! The usual tea/coffee, would have been improved with a couple of packets of hotel biscuits. Hotel dinner menu very limited and not everything on it available. We ordered in, which is a shame as that food we did see coming from the kitchen did look nice. Good restful sleep overnight, although we did get a fright when a man came through the interconnecting door thinking it was a toilet!! I think he got as big a fright as us! So be aware to check your door! Breakfast could be improved but good basics, re-stocking of the hot buffet needs to be faster and the hot chocolate was empty. On checking out very nice customer service. We would visit again, the customer service and the room comfort makes this an excellent base for lee valley ice rink (approx £12 using uberX).
Great staff, small hotel ideally suited for the Ching ford /Walthamstow area All the usual facilities, room big enough , very clean, nice nest bathroom. Tea making facilities in the room Ample car parking out the front.
The room was very clean and the choice of pillows was a good idea. Spacious bathroom and very nice bath sheet towels. Tea and coffe making facilities were very welcome. We had a nice meal in the restaurant in the evening which was good, the breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the freshly cooked food. The only negative comment was our room carpet was rather stained.
Since arriving you are made to feel very welcome and they will help as much as they can and are willing to go that extra mile to help all guest even those who are just in for food or drinks. Staff are top class and the room are fairly spacious with a double bed and a sofa bed also with full free view and tea and coffee for relaxing. Shower is very nice good pressure even on the higher floors also a bonus right beside a Sainsbury's for anything the hotel can't provide
I usually stay here when visiting family with my children and again had another faultless experience. Stayed 25th & 26th August. Great to see that the shower in the bathroom now has a proper screen and not a curtain. Breakfast to normal standard although no yoghurts on either morning. Great staff and really good location.
We have used this hotel now for 14 years and will be booking again for next years Rugby League Cup Final weekend. The staff are first class and add to our weekend away, Special mention to Steve on reception who quickly sorted out our 10 rooms,
