Compact and easy to acces and clean

Point A (formally Tune) is my go-to London hotel when I need a base camp. It's central to King's Cross, which means you can get a direct tube to the airport. The staff are amazing. The location has decent food and night life available or near enough. The rooms need love, though. The bathroom I had the toilet had a back up from the pipes so it always smelled like poo in the room. Even a note to the Point A did nothing but a promise to do something LOL. I think I can sum up the hotel's issues thusly: There was blood on my bedsheets (sheets, that I am pretty sure they get from the Salvation Army). However, I knew it was sterile because of the ungodly amount of bleach they use (makes your skin crawl) in washing. That's the Point A in a nutshell. It might be rundown and poorly constructed, but, in the end, its a safe spot to lie your head.

Cleanliness

Great hotel, location, and service. The stuff is very friendly and helpful

Very clean, minimalist room with hardly any furniture other than the bed....but that led to us knowing to room was super clean

Staff was super pleasant and helpful. Yes the room is small. Most are in Europe. It’s very clean. Everything you need for a basic, no frills stay. If you’re looking for high class and extra stuff, don’t count on it here cause that’s not what they’re after. That being said, our stay was fantastic. We’re low maintenance, spent most of our time out and about, and just needed a clean place to rest. We got it here. And they let you leave your luggage after you check out if you have a later flight. I definitely recommend!

Beautiful and central for transportation. Staff was great and nice breakfast.

Budget, but did the job at a reasonable price. Good value.

The hotel is convenient with a seven minute walk to the King's Cross station. No problem catching a bus or getting on the metro station. However, as it did not have a fridge, electric kettle, or microwave, there is no way to eat in the room. I would recommend this hotel for weekend travelers or short trips, but it may not be useful for longer trips where you want to feel at home. Be aware that if you are staying for an extended stay, room service is every three days. They will replace towels daily, but nothing else. Hotel staff was always friendly. There are three elevators. Use the large elevator to bring up your luggage or if you have more than two people in your party. The center two are a little tight.

Although my room was on the smaller side, it was clean and conveniently located. Not to mention, it had AC! This was much appreciated since I visited London during a heatwave. It's walking distance to the train stations I used (Kings Cross, Euston, and St Pancras). It was quiet and close enough to everything I wanted to see/do. The price was fair; I'd stay here again!

We loved the continental breakfast and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We would have loved to have hair conditioner in the bathroom and facial towels. Other than that this place is excellent for anyone.

Our stay here was fine. The hotel room was clean though there was some missed trash under the bed. Location was very central to where we needed but the neighborhood left a bit to be desired. Overall it was a pleasant stay though nothing to write home about. The bed wasn't very comfortable but it sufficed.

Avoid Room without window because it is a bit chlostorophobic, othar than that excellent reception staff, clean, safe and very close to st pancras station if you have an early train.
