Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras

The only upside is the friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the rest of the features were disappointing. Spotty wifi required troubleshooting twice with the front desk, but only in person as we were surprised to find no phone in the room! Also, there is no "do not disturb" placard, so be wary of a housekeeper knocking and entering while you're taking a shower. The bathroom literally had only one hook to hold a towel, so be prepared to drape your towels wherever you can. Didn't provide adequate extra toilet paper. No luggage rack or closet so suitcases had to be splayed out on the floor and got in the way. Would not recommend this due to the sheer lack of he most basic amenities.

This is a lovely place to stay for a central London adventure. Travelling solo, I felt very safe and secure in this location. The staff were friendly and accommodating; the room was quaint but comfy, with a great shower; very clean overall. Pro tip: Get breakfast at the Water Rats restaurant next door - you get 10% off for being a Point A guest.

Small but clean hotel. Easy access to the tube . Nice and helpful staff .

The bathroom drain was clogged. The room itself was ok, comfy beds.

This hotel is very close to the train station and metro, so makes for getting around town easily. Otherwise the hotel is pretty basic. They were doing some renovations at the hotel during our stay which really did not interfere with anything (no excessive noise, ect) but some of there typical services were down. No room cleaning which they stated on their website - not a problem for us. Just nothing extravagant to say about this hotel. Good place to sleep.

Conveniently located next to kings cross. Good eating places. Was being renovated when I stayed. Perhaps will be better once completed. But rooms are tiny.

The location was ideal for our purposes. We were able to use the buses, underground, and thameslink easily. Fast food was nearby but unfortunately not a lot of other food options aside from the restaurant/bar next door. The checkin staff was very pleasant (Fatima). Extremely welcoming which I don't find common with typical London customer service. There was 1 lady who was very unfriendly when we were tying to purchase a water bottle. Seems like either the system/Point of Sale registrar was slow or she simply didn't know the price of a water bottle. As a minor transaction it just seemed to be more complicated than necessary. The room is small. My boyfriend and I barely manage to stand in the same room at the same time but luckily I'm petite so the walkspace of 5 inches on my side of the bed was not a big problem. We had a window!!! I believe our unit was 603. The view was nice. Our bed was hard as if sleeping on the floor. A 4 night stay was rough at times. Elevators are small which I guess can be expected from older budget hotels in Europe. I took the stairs once and hey we're well maintained. Overall nice stay, bed is hard, Fatima is friendly, and the location is good.

Great staff. Clean rooms. Awesome location. Fair price!

Me and my mom stayed for 8 nights in late February; overall the experience was great. It was our first time in London and the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful with the direction and underground station question. Hotel location is very good too, only 6 mins walking distance to underground station which is very convenient. The room is not big but enough for two people. Highly recommended!

Extremely tiny rooms and no coffee pot. Will not go back.

Room is clean. Location is convenient. Good value.

Buyer beware! This hotel is bare bones! When booking make sure you reserve towels, shampoo, etc as they charge extra. No amenities, but at least it was clean.

The stay was fine. Had to sit at an angle on the toilet just to fit.

Great hotel for the money. Clean and comfortable, but small.

The Tune is definitely a budget hotel, but is very clean and functional. The location is ideal for walking access to St. Pancras and King's Cross station which was convenient for us to catch the Eurostar to Paris, The staff were particularly polite and helpful. If you are planning to be sightseeing and spending limited time in the room, the Tune may be for you.

Stayed here for 5 nights in June 2015. You get what you pay for. Rooms tiny and clean, but you have to ask for them to empty trash bin in room or empty yourself and pay extra for daily maid service. In fact, you pay extra for everything: towels, etc., unless you book a comfort package. It's a limited-service hotel, so keep this in mind. Front desk staff aren't very friendly. They barely say hello and have zero customer service skills. Hotel is centrally located, near Tube trains and Kings Cross and St. Pancras Station. Great for an overnight stay, but no longer. No dresser or anywhere to put your luggage. No closet just a few hangars for clothes. Bathrooms are best thing about the place. Very nice shower. Good AC you can control. Overall, a bare-bones hotel and not intended for a week-long stay. If you are staying more than one night, look elsewhere.

Good, clean room, well appointed, although a bit cramped for 2 people. Front desk staff very polite and helpful. One slight blemish: toilet bowl could have been properly cleaned for our greeting. Having said this, I would return for a short visit.

Very nice Hotel, modern and comfortable. very clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is central and the tube/train are close by. The staff are super nice and helpful, with a great smile. Special thanks to Mari C. and Vivien who recommended the best places and are very accommodating. Hinh, Alex, Tiago and Chris were very helpful as well. They all helped make my trip to the beautiful London unforgettable. The hotel is fairly well priced. Definitely, to recommend and come back.

I stayed with mi wife just for one night in general everything was perfect. For sure I recommend this hotel.

Unbelievably small. Staff was ok nothing special. The room was cleaned every 3 days solo we were there 3 days do our room did not get cleaned. You had to pay for everything. If you wanted extra towels and it wasn't included you had to pay. Disappointed
