Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras

It was a very nice property. I did not like the baggage storage charge, but it was low.

Point A is in an excellent location, especially if you need to be within walking distance from the international train station St. Pancras, or a tube station such as Kings Cross or Euston. Their double room is on the small side but perfectly adequate for a short stay. It is equipped with AC, TV, a full sized bed, folding desk, and an open "closet" with hangers. The small & clean bathroom has everything you'll need. The breakfast buffet has good variety of pastries, fruits, cereal, yoghurts, breads, coffee & juices. The staff is also very pleasant.

Windowless rooms were a novelty. It worked for me because I can’t sleep in if it’s light. Slept better because of it, weirdly enough.

When people read reviews of the rooms here, what you need to understand where this place is located and also read the companies ad. Yes, the rooms are small, but so are most of the rooms in the other Hotels. They clearly state their room sizes, what I was looking for were comfortable beds, which they were. If you want more room, spend two or three times the price of what you can get this place for. The location is great, close to the train station but not too close you hear a lot of noise. The staff was friendly and their small, but good breakfast, was the right amount with very good pastries. Ways they could improve? Since their rooms are so small, it’s probably hard to get under the beds, we saw some dust bunnies. The hair dryer chord is so short, you need to be about four feet tall to comfortably use it. The ‘do not disturb’ button didn’t work, but overall we were very happy with our stay and would certainly stay there again.

Excellent staff. Close to train stations. Excellent amenities. Also, their breakfast is very good.

If you want to get close to St/ Pancras station and close to central tube lines and pay a fair price; than this is your hotel. Ask for a new type room with the multi-colored disco light. I might urge you to ask for a non-street view. You will look at buildings but it will be quiet

The staff is extremely attentive to detail and personal. Infelt like they were family. They remembered my name and always greeted me when i walked through the door as well as they asked if i needed anything to make my stay more comfortable. I normally stay here every time I'm in London for that reason.

Clean, safe hotel with gracious and helpful staff. I would stay again.

Fatima at the front was AMAZING. So cheery and a wonderful employee! Extremely helpful.

Nice, smallish compact clean rooms. Wifi didn't work in room. Great staff.

Location is great if you need to go to Euston and Kings Cross St Pancras Stations. Small room with tiny bathroom - ok for a short stay. Has elevator and easy to check in and out. Breakfast is on the ground floor and there are options in the neighborhood.

Location is good and staff are nice. But the room is small and no make up the room everyday.

Great location near St Pancras. Very friendly staff. Tiny rooms, but biggest issue was hard bed and horrible pillows. Bathroom also uncomfortable.

Clean, Great location, wonderful staff, tiny rooms with no windows.

If you want a cheap, clean, and convenient place to stay in London, then this is it. It's so inexpensive that you worry if this place is a dump and it's not. It's so clean that it's hard to believe. It's so convenient that you can walk to train stations to visit places. Good places to eat nearby as well. The hotel doesn't have a lot of amenities and they don't provide some of the toiletry you find in other hotels. They only provide a big towel, toilet paper, and few plastic cups, but free coffee and tea 24/7 and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are quite small, but they have a very nice lounge area you can eat and talk and go online. That's all we need for our stay in London is a place we can sleep, leave our luggages, and go enjoy visiting the city. We are very happy with our stay. Great job, Point A Hotel. Thank you!

The room was very small and they did not change the bed covers, you can hear everything from the street and some other rooms too. They dont have a coffee machine or not even a bottle of water... however, the location is very convenient (few streets from King Cross - St Pancras) and the price is affordable.

I stayed in a Point A in Glasgow recently and enjoyed the experience. This hotel was not as nicely appointed, and not a good experience. What ruined the stay was loud construction noise in the hotel, jackhammering from the hours of 8am to 4pm. After coming in from an early flight, all I wanted was to sleep for a bit. Not possible. The noise is taking place in the hotel as they renovate-- they really shouldn't have rented the room because it was so loud. Construction debris in the hallways as well, they should have just not let me stay there it was so disruptive. Overall not a great experience and poor value for the uncomfortable stay.

Check in was a breeze, Very inviting and clean. The room was small but we expected that after reading the reviews. Our biggest concerns were safety, price and convenience. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I like the built in foldaway desk that lets you use the end of the bed for a seating area to use your computer or use it as a writing desk. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location just 3 or 4 blocks from the Kings Cross / St Pancras train station. The bed was comfortable and even though the room was small it had a full sized bathroom with a nice shower. This is now our go to hotel in central London. When we checked out the desk clerk insisted on helping my wife down the steps with her luggage. She also offered to get us a cup of coffee to go when we said we didn't have time for one before we left.

The only upside is the friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the rest of the features were disappointing. Spotty wifi required troubleshooting twice with the front desk, but only in person as we were surprised to find no phone in the room! Also, there is no "do not disturb" placard, so be wary of a housekeeper knocking and entering while you're taking a shower. The bathroom literally had only one hook to hold a towel, so be prepared to drape your towels wherever you can. Didn't provide adequate extra toilet paper. No luggage rack or closet so suitcases had to be splayed out on the floor and got in the way. Would not recommend this due to the sheer lack of he most basic amenities.
