The standard by which we judge all city hotels. We simply couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Go for the lobby, the restaurant, the Maproom, the tea, the stunning art deco décor, the incredible annual Christmas tree and decorations, the water pressure (!), but stay for the doormen, the wait staff, the incomparable concierge, the front office and, above all, the room staff who, in the 8 plus years we've been going have never once failed us.

Exactly what you'd expect from one of the best hotels in the country. Staff are immaculately turned out and very helpful and professional. Our room was stunning: excellent décor, furniture and preparation. A truly wonderful experience

Excellent Service and facilities, second to none. All staff most helpful and efficient. Decor and surroundings very beautiful. Location in central London convenient for theatres, concerts, shopping, sight-seeing, etc.

We were here for a wedding in early December. The hotel its self was decorated for Christmas and the decorations were wonderful. We were in private rooms for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast then for the evening reception which also looked very nice. The wedding ceremony went well without any hitches then we were shown into the reception room whilst the ceremony room was being set up for the wedding breakfast. The champagne and the canopies were exceptional. We were then seated for the wedding breakfast which consisted of Lobster starter followed by lamb as the main course. This is where the experience fell short. The lobster was cold and rubbery and the lamb was also cold and was served with very hard and tasteless vegetables. The toilets were a mile away and the venue really got too hot halfway through the evening. All in all the venue is very grand but the food was not un to what you would expect.

A truly exceptional experience from the moment you arrive. The staff can not do enough for you, food and hotel are out of this world. We booked the Christmas package which included a 5 course Christmas dinner feast, Christmas stockings for all family members, treats delivered to the room, horse and carriage ride around Mayfair on Christmas day with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Words can not describe the true experience that we had at Claridges.

We moved to Claridge’s after a disastrous choice (of the same price) in the countryside. Our room was ready, spotless and full of Christmas goodies, including a real Christmas tree, panettone and mince pies. Dinner at the bar was just right, with discrete service and perfect cocktails. Breakfast was perfect, from the crockery to the service to the taste. This place is impeccable. As is the staff, as is the food as is every detail. Why do people go anywhere else?

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at Claridges in September and spent two nights in one of the hotel suites. From the moment we walked through the door opened by the charming door men and were escorted to our room, the staff were simply fabulous. The hotel is a beautiful eclectic mix of glamour, sparkle & impeccable service it feels like you've stepped back in time to a bygone era, Claridges takes pride in its reputation & their attention to detail is second to none. It oozes sophistication without being flashy. The room we had was simply out of this world but even the regular bedrooms were sumptuous and not cramped at all. Our children were welcomed & fell in love with the hotel as much as we did. The food was delicious, the cocktails divine. My only complaint was we had to leave. A life long love affair has been established for us & we have become part of of the Claridges family! I heard a saying new money screams, old money whispers and the latter is so true of Claridges. Quietly luxurious, stunning & totally unique.

We have had the good fortune to be able to stay at Claridge’s before and chose this occasion to mark my wife’s 70th birthday. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel special and that nothing was too much trouble, we loved it.

The suite and services provided were excellent and could not find any fault throughout the whole of our stay. This is the best way to spend Christmas, either as a couple or with friends and family. The staff here seem to know what you want before you do, and are ready and prepared for you, they are exceptional.

As a Londoner, this was my first time staying in a hotel in my own city. I booked two nights and a birthday surprise for my boyfriend and it was magical. The Hotel dressed for Christmas looked exceptional. The staff could not have been more helpful-the room was completely charming and incredibly comfortable. It is pure luxury without being austere. I travel a lot with my job and have stayed at wonderful hotels all over the world but nothing compares to Claridges. It is outstanding.
