Booked a king room deluxe, huge room, lovely bed ,spoilt by noise outside as building work going on and some sort of generator humming , Booked the foyer for evening meal , tables are tiny, had lobster bisque as a starter not as good as the Dorchester! The main courses were average to poor, I had rose veal which had been breadcrumbed and fried, it was very dry and tasteless , I cook better at home, not worth the money and not a memorable meal, disappointing, we were not asked if everything was ok with our meal at any point. Breakfast was nice but all a la Carte, no buffet, so we had breakfast included in our room rate so £38 for an English breakfast which didn’t include cereal or any fresh fruit which is extra so again disappointing making breakfast very expensive as a yoghurt was £7 !!
2nd stay in a year. I never take anything for granted so it's always a provelege to stay here. Great Staff, Great service, Great food and Great bars. The ambiance of Claridges ensembles one of the best hotels in the world. Fera was a culinary experience and the restaurant deserves it's Michelin star. The Foyer and Reading room dining experience was just as good. Breakfast in the room is the best in any London hotel I've stayed in. Outside the hotel your 5 mins walk from Regent st, Oxford St and not much further to Hyde Park.
Our stay was spoiled by the fact everything we ordered pre visit like champagne and chocolates we ordered did not arrive until we chased it, that we booked into the restaurant, and they could not find our booking, for some unknown reason we could not hook up to their wi fi connection
This is my Happy Place. I just love this hotel, its staff and location. The Fumoir Bar is the best so nice and cosy, with a lovely ambiance. Staff couldn't be more helpful and just a pleasure to deal with.
Year after year , Claridge's is always as it was . The most convenient , the best , and the only palace where i can feel at home , away from home . Less than 24 hours short stop on the way back from Iceland , to Continental Europe , i was pampered in this beautiful and welcoming , yet not pretentious Hotel . Concierge will find you anything you need with a smile that will add joy to his politeness ( wandering why i did spend twice the amount of the Claridge's one night and payed the double in Paris 's Plaza Athénée to only feel " insulted " there last week !) . All shopping bags from Jermyn Street delivered and waiting for me in Good order on the king bed ... All was good . I was so disappointed because i got a hint that Jeremy Corbyn , for whatever reason , will pass by he hotel in the morning , and i was searching and ready to hug him ! He did not come. Many things changed in recent years in London , and not for the better . Claridge's did not . Always the best , with its bright rooms ,the Bronze touch and the stylish chic bathrooms and great and pleasant service .
You simply can't fault Claridges. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff are lovely, friendly, incredibly thoughtful and efficient. The hotel lives up to its own impeccable standards and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
I have stayed close to 100 times at Claridges and I just love coming back. The service and the staff is simply the best in London and I consider it to be the best value of a luxury hotel anywhere in the world. I enjoy that the hotel still has history and has 'only' been gently restored so it still has its original look.
Proud to be British , this iconic hotel was and is amazing, the staff at the hotel personify EXCELLENCE in their delivery of customer service, they can not be faulted for ensuring you are looked after and made to feel very special. Can not recommend this hotel enough , great location as well.
The hotel is stylish and the staff professional and friendly, they can't do enough. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of champagne . Walking distance to south moulton street and shops. Cocktails before we went out in the bar a delight, but give yourself time as the bar was busy Saturday night, but the drinks worth waiting for.
