Great location, wonderful service provided by the staff. Clean and modern rooms, wonderful food and very close to the underground.
Clean and modern hotel. Staff was exceptionally curteous without exception. Restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. Very close to the Underground. Only downside was the "gentleman's club" 3 blocks from the hotel. This did not impact our stay at the hotel but something to consider when out for an evening stroll.
Overall the hotel and staff was nice. The only downfall was the AC in our room didn't seem to cool as it should. They did supply us with a fan to help also maintenance did come and service it right away (still wasn't cool enough). We just toughed it out with the fan added. We also got stuck on the elevator for a short period. The staff quickly rescued us.
Did not look like a regular Marriott, old and dirty hallway, stained carpet in room and hallway, small lobby with old furniture, felt like 2 stars hotel
Comfortable stay. Rooms are small compared to US standards.
Was my fourth or fifth stay. You used to be able to get to the health club via an indoor route. Not anymore. Also, the staff is not always clear on when the health club is open. Room was quiet, clean. One rather silly thing. If you want wifi free, you have to go to the lobby. If you want it in your room, you have to pay, close to the underground, about 45 minutes o heathrow via the heathrow express. Good choice. Good neighborhood, and you can travel all over london easily. Underground line is the bakerloo.
