Room was clean Telly was tiny Shower was hot and strong Couldnt eat the breakfast and forgot to alert ahead of time of dietary requirements But the one hooge downfall is no sockets beside the bed to plug tech into and as its also my alarm clock i dont want it 8ft across the room!!! I would stay again but bring extension lead
I was kept up half teh night from noise from faulty pipework at the hotel. I called a member of staff and was unable to resolve. I did not get to sleep until after 3 am and was needing to be up and our early. WIFI did not work and reception told me this was common. Paid a lot of money for this very bad hotel and expect value for money. Breakfast was acceptable and location good for the tube. Lots of noise at night from tube and other guests. Wish I was at home and trained in! On check out I was offered 500 point useless as I will not use this outfit any more pore customer care, service and hotel. Very poor offer for experience. Premier inn from now on as they have teh good night stay and will refund this chain did not care. So that's how you treat loyal programme punter is it?
Stayed at this hotel to see daughter, such a good place very near to central line tube, clean and modern hotel, great friendly staff, breakfast was buffet style, as much or as little as you want, shower very nice good pressure and hot, air con bit noisy so unable to keep it on, with underground behind hotel couldn’t leave windows open, room did get slightly warm as it was good weather. All in all great hotel great location would definitely stay again:)
It was easy to use public transport to reach the hotel from Heathrow Airport. Just take the train (not Underground our Heathrow Express) towards Paddington and get off at Ealing Broadway. Walk over to the next platform and take the Underground (Central Line) to North Action. In total it took about 20 minutes but note that the trains from Heathrow are not very frequent (if you miss one it is at least 20 minutes to the next one). When you get to North Action there are steps to the street level but this is true for most stations in London so if you have heavy luggage you may not want to use public transport to get to your hotel. From the station house it only took a couple of minutes to get to the hotel since it is right to it. The staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable when I arrived. I immediately liked the modern and clean ambience of the reception area (which is also the bar/breakfast area). The room itself was not big but there was enough space for 1 to 2 persons. Clean and modern. I had a sofa by the window which is always nice since it is sometimes difficult to find somewhere to sit comfortably in hotel rooms. The bed felt a bit too soft for my liking by I ended up sleeping very well so not too bad in the end. Four different pillows which were supposed to be both soft and hard but it felt like they were all the same. The bathroom was probably the best thing about the room since it had a shower (not an old bathtub that you have to climb into when you want to have a shower) and it was handheld with is so rare to find in both the UK and the US but really is a must for Scandinavians (and many others). I was so happy that I almost cried when I noticed it! The door to the bathroom could also be used to shut the door to the toilet itself which means that one person can have a shower while another one is using the toilet but still with a bit more privacy. Nice touch! Breakfast is included which is also not very common in London but it is a great way to start your day and saves time since it means you don't have to go somewhere else. It was not huge but still had plenty of different hot and cold things to choose from. I did not try everything but what I had was both very tasty and looked good. Loved the coffee machine since it meant I could have a double espresso in the morning. The area around the hotel is also very good. You have a Tesco Express which is open until midnight just on the other side of the street. There is a pub with outside seating close by and a Costa Coffee store just opposite the hotel. Just a couple of stops with the Underground will take you to Westfield shopping mall which is the best one I've been to in London. If you travel a bit further with the Underground you will get to Hyde Park or Oxford Street. Considering what you get for the price you pay, the friendly staff, and the location of this hotel it is most definitely a hidden gem and I will return the next time I travel to London.
Arrived late and there was no parking. Was offered option of a chargeable parking at nearby hotel (chargeable on site anyway!) which I was willing to pay, but then it turned out there was no space anyway at the sister site! (what’s the point in offering it as an option when there was no space?!). Was then told to park off road but receptionist gave the wrong direction so it took ages to find it. It was late, cold and about to rain and I had to walk back from the off road parking. Also, I had left my suitcase at reception when I went to look for this off road parking, the hotel did not even offer to send my suitcase to my room. Also, breakfast starts at 7am - a bit late for business travellers.
Hotel does what it says on the tin It was a nice room but no bath which I was disappointed with Breakfast and the staff were very good There is a lovely Greek restaurant over the road which I had the loveliest dinner at I would really recommend it
I am disgusted by the service received. I received an email and a phone call pressuring me in to paying the full amount immediately for my booking (weeks after I had originally booked it) which I was not made aware at the time I completed my booking. I was assured I would not need to give full payment until the day I checked in. The receptionist I spoke to was disgustingly rude and continued to speak over me and be very dismissive and pressurising. And to make to matters worse, the receptionist hung up on me when I was enquiringly for more details regarding my booking. I highly advise no one book here unless you want to be treated in a vulgar manner.
I stayed here for one night only and thank god for that. Firstly they have the worst parking facilities ever. Everyone is on top of each other, I was just told too park in s disabled bay. The evening dinner is aweful no taste at all.
We stayed a total of 9 nights at the hotel in march, the staff was polite and eager to help, the location is very good, the hotel is adjoining the north Acton tube station and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. The room was clean and linen was clean, great value for money. The breakfast was good, but vegetarians among us had less options. There are departmental stores nearby. We had fresh pizzas from Domino's nearby which gives buy one get one free if you collect the pizza. Cab at reasonable rate was arranged by hotel staff for airport. Would definitely recommend the hotel.
Everything here worked perfectly for us. Convenient to tube station and on central line. Parking unavailable at the hotel the first night as we arrived a bit late but we're advised of alternative parking easily found about 5 mins away. Parked for 24 hrs for only £2!! The other days we parked easily at the hotel. Staff were very helpful and breakfast as always was excellent. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.
