Great staff great location With easy access into central London. Great room lovely and clean comfortable bed. Breakfast was good choice buffet style. Choice of sainsbury, or tesco If you forget anything
Our stay was a brief overnight one after attending a family function nearby. Check in could be quicker process. Upon entering our room as a couple we noticed the guest bed had been pulled out and made up. We did not ask for this so were baffled as to why this was done after making a booking of 2 people. Because of this I knocked my foot into the desk and chair twice as there was no space in the room. We asked for the ironing facilities at check in but the staff member did not listed so had to ask another 2 times after waiting 20 mins. We did not have time to mention about the guest bed as we were in a rush. Breakfast is okay salty powdered eggs bacon and sausages are good. However with a busy breakfast session I never understand why these hotels let the buffet run out and then a queue arrives waiting for bacon etc.. mos annoying. Nice bright breakfast area and reception. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately at check out the receptionist IOANA asked me to complete a feedback card and score them with any comments which I obliged but she then felt the need to chastise a middle aged woman in front of other guests asking why I gave the score i did (which was 6/10) as this would be "bad for them". I explained that this is my opinion and not hers and told her you are not to question the customer as this is not your job. i will be making an official complaint about this member of staff who was quite rude in fact arguing with a customer who was trying to check out and get home. I asked her several times to stop questioning me and she still continued.
My room was great. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful. Within a few minutes walk you will find a Tesco, a Sainsbury, a Costa Coffee, a Subway Sandwich, and a Domino's Pizza, as well as several local eateries. The hotel is only a few steps from the the North Acton tube station, which is in Zone 2 so it is a simple ride on the Central Line to both the West End and the City, (and at the far end of Zone 2 to Westfield Stratford). During the morning rush hour some Central Line trains originate at North Acton and so you will be able to get a seat. The hotel can be reached with step-free accessibility from Heathrow by taking the Piccadilly Line to Hammersmith and then the 266 bus toward Brent Cross. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel. For the trip back to Heathrow, because of a grid of one-way streets, you need to walk a block east to the B stop to catch the 266 bus for Hammersmith.
This hotel is located very close to North Acton tube station on the Central Line. It is modern in terms of decor with a reception area that leads directly to a lounge/dining area. The welcome is good with staff who are happy to assist and deal with any questions. Rooms are what one would expect at a Holiday Inn Express - clean, well tended with an en-suite. Breakfast is included in the price. It is a good offer - hot food, continental, cereals, pastries and fruit - a good enough choice for anyone. There is a small convenience store, Sainsbury's Local, Tesco Express, Costa Coffee, a traditional pub (The Castle) and an independent kitchen/bar all within a few steps from the hotel. The tubes run regularly with access to central London in a 20 minute ride. Quite simply a good choice, moderately priced hotel.
Great clean, spacious rooms, with a free breakfast included. The hotel was steps away from the tube station with a number of supermarkets near by. I'd say this hotel is a little further out of central London that I would have liked. The tube station is just around the corner, but it takes a while to get to any of the attractions. Depending on what you're looking for, I might choose a hotel that's a little closer to central London. However, if you have your own vehicle, or don't mind taking the tube for 20-30 minutes to visit central London, I'd say this hotel was good value for money.
Staff were unwilling to refund my room even though I explained my situation. A bit of understanding would be helpful in these bad times. Holiday should make an exception for me like they have done so for other customers.
2 mins walk from Tube station, and less busy street around (less noise), very nice breakfast, and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Supermarkets, coffee shop, pizza, bar and pub all nearby the hotel, no worry at all about check-in late at night.
I stayed in this hotel for my business trip. If your expectation is not too high , it is value for the money. Staff is caring well at the reception, check in process is fast. Breakfast buffet is small but enough selections.
We stayed here for one night because we were going to a show at the Hammersmith Apollo and it seemed a not unreasonable distance for a not unreasonable price. And that's just what it was; exactly what was needed for a one night stopover. A clean room, with a fully equipped shower room, a comfortable bed and a friendly welcoming-team. The breakfast (which I had forgotten was included) was perfectly adequate. Pretty much what you'd expect from a slightly bulk-produced hotel breakfast but it was a welcome addition to make the price even better value for money. There is a hotel bar which was open quite late and was a nice final stop on the way back from our show. I wouldn't expect too much from the area itself aside from being surrounded by quite convenient access to Tesco, Sainsbury's and Costa. Having said that, the hotel is a stone's throw from the tube station and the door opens onto a bus stop so it's easy access into other bits of London. I'd stay again if I found myself that side of London.
Hotel has good and bad bits - the reception and bar area is pretty smart with plenty of large screen TV's, however the rooms are the very old style holiday inn express rooms and really in need of an update. Thin mattress wasnt very comfortable, heating was really noisy, the noise from the tube could be heard but it wasnt a big deal I stayed as it was so handy for the tube and central line into london at a much cheaper price - come out the station entrance and turn either left or right and follow round and the hotel is there - backs on to the station itself - two stops on the tube to get to Westfield shopping centre so handy for that The area was dead at night - but had Costa, Tesco Express, Sainsburys Local, Dominos, Subway within a few steps. Not anywhere to go for a proper meal that I noticed although the hotel had some food Id say the owners need to do some work and update the hotel in order to retain customers
