Great location walk from station or bus From here you can walk to most main sites of London or catch bus train or hop on buses Hotel manager(or owner)is very friendly and helpful, everything I asked for(except hot water)was organised or fixed straight away Place getting a bit old and beds a bit hard If you want a hot shower make sure you have out of peak times Breakfast was very good and the lady organising it was so nice Plenty to eat for a continental breakfast Right out door and across road plenty or food and coffee places especially Mimos an Italian coffee shop and restaurant No elevator so not good if too much luggage I would stay again

I am so glad my family of five only needed a place to stay for one night before an early Heathrow flight. Clear evidence of water damage on floor and wall close to bathroom. Grime on baseboards and my knees hit the sink while on the toilet. Basement room (think Laverne and Shirley style window.) So many hotels close to Paddington. Explore your options.

Booked this hotel as was near Mable Arch and quite cheap considering the location. It can be noisy at night given the location and you can almost hear people going up and down the stairs. The rooms are small and look dull.

Absolutely horrendous experience. Had booked a car parking space - none available when we arrived - a nightmare in central London. The hotel literally stinks - awful smells of drains constantly. Our family room was filthy. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls with damp, the shower and sink were dirty - you couldn’t sit on the toilet without banging your knees on the sink - the bathroom door had multiple holes in it, the door frames and air vents were thick with filth. The toilet did not flush properly and we literally had to hold our breath when in the bathroom as the stench made us feel sick. Not even a lamp or a chair in the room. The beds were not assembled correctly and creaked and leaned at odd angles. They had crammed 3 single beds and a double in so tightly that you could not walk around them. When we complained we were assured we would receive a call to update us - this never happened - the same member of staff was on duty for the entire duration of our stay, and he could not care less about our concerns. Our experience was so poor that we are passing on our concerns to environmental health.

Hotel is not the best.. Breakfast finished at 09:00 on a Sunday!!!! Toilet and shower is small, ok if you are child size. No remote for the TV on the first night, was replaced for day 2 after complaining, but TV only had 10 channels, until we found how to re-tune it. Cast Iron headboard so not comfy when sitting up. Pillow was flatter than a pancake had to roll up the towel to get a bit of height. Room was very small and dated. No place to hang your clothes up, only small side table with a couple of drawers..

When I travel for work on my own I always look for the best price. To pay £44 for en-suite b & b in Central London is great value. My room was clean. Bed was fine. Shower good . Water hot. Breakfast enjoyable. Staff friendly and welcoming. I would agree that the decor bedroom was a bit tired. But so was I, and went straight to sleep. Would I return? Yes. For work. No frills. Very good value indeed.

Both my wife and I stayed at the Adare. We chose this hotel for its location and price. You pay for what you get and for the price we got a clean, comfortable room which was basic but then we only needed somewhere to sleep and did not intend on spending our whole stay in London in our room. Parking is very limited so I would suggest when you book your stay you need to book a parking space (straight outside the hotel). Staff where very friendly, helpful and are there 24/7. We didnt book breakfast but was told we could have it at no extra charge, again basic but you can get you fill. We would stay again and will book once we are set for another London trip. Adare: thanks for hospitality!

We visited the Adere hotel for 4 nights in December. The bed was comfortable, it was warm and extremely well situated for restaurants, tubes and Hyde Park. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. This is an excellent base for looking around London if you are on a limited budget. However, the décor is a bit tired and the whole place could benefit from a lick of paint so don't book if you are expecting a swanky boutique experience. That said, the Adare Hotel is very good value for money by London standards and with the rising prices of all services and utilities etc, I doubt that the management/owners have much profit left over for paying for maintenance. We would definitely go back if we are fortunate enough to afford a trip to London again ...

Got relocated here by Booking.com for New Year’s Eve. It was an absolute state. The place is really scruffy and when we were there it was really smelly. They had toilet issues and blocked sewage so you can imagine the smell. The rooms had mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Thick grime everywhere. The hotel has a damp issue with wallpaper coming off everywhere, parts of the stairs has handrails missing. I could go on and on. They charged us £570 for this hotel. I tried to get my money back straight away but the guy refused. Absolutely terrible stay away.

We stayed in this hotel last year and had no issues with the service bearing in mind it’s at a very cheap cost in a very central upmarket area of London. The rooms are comfortable and functional. I really think people should bear this in mind when they are moaning about the hotel - pay big bucks if you want fancy stuff! We booked again and came back this year, the hotel had been overbooked so they moved us to next doors hotel at no extra charge. They also remembered us from last year which was nice. Good friendly customer service.
