The hotel is under renovation and so they have just three working elevators. The lines are very long to use an elevator making guests very angry. The management should limit the number of guests until all renovations are completed,

The bus stop just outside was convenient for getting around town but noisy at night as folks gathered for the next bus. Location convenient to West End plays. The VQ restaurant was lovely.

Hotel was a less than 5 minute walk to the underground the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and more than adequate. Lastly we tried 2 out of the 3 restaurants on-site (cucina and the 24 hr cafe) and I highly recommend them, good food and great customer service I would definitely stay again in the future or even if I'm not staying at the hotel I would still eat at their restaurants.

We stayed here for 2 mid-week nights. The hotel is conveniently located for theatre land and other attractions. Tottenham Court Road tube station is just 5 minutes walk away. Our clean, well prepared room was a newly refurbished Signature room, whilst not that big and with limited storage it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our short night stay. It also had air conditioning. Nice walk-in shower with ample hot water. We went room only and took breakfast in the co-located VQ Restaurant enjoying excellent freshly cooked meals served by friendly staff. If you arrive early, they are happy to store your luggage free of charge. Staff were helpful. Only slight downside was just one person free wifi access per room. For a 3 star hotel in central London, we consider it very good and would have no problem staying here again for a short stay.

Staff not friendly, charging extra £20 for checking in early by only a couple hours, and did not even asked us if it’s okay before hand. Very noisy and dirty, gave us the old wing instead of what’s showing on the picture when we booked it. Very disappointing.

Nice hotel. Atrocious elevators

Overall, the hotel was fine. The staff in the VQ Restaurant were great, especially Doina who deserves special mention. The elevators, of which there were only four and were small to begin with were a nightmare for the five days we were at the hotel. At any given time, at least two of them would be malfunctioning. The hotel seems to deal quite a lot with tours and big groups of tourists who have a lot of luggage. At the best of times, four small elevators aren’t enough. Having two or three malfunctioning is unacceptable. Our hotel room was on the seventh floor and the stairway that we had to use was dirty and narrow and steep and dangerous and we should never have had to use it at all. I have heart failure and arthritis and climbing 10 flights of stairs to get to the 7th floor was a legitimate health hazard There were literally times that we felt trapped in our room because we couldn’t be sure that if we left we’d be able to get back. Also, there was a window in our room which would not shut which meant that all night we could hear sounds from the streets coming in to the room, as well as the wind blowing in all night every night. The cleaning staff were nice.
