No vegan food

Dec 25, 2019

Appreciated fact there were few of any announcements on overnight flight. Food wasn’t very good, even by airline standards. Cups for soft drinks and tea and coffee were minuscule and coffee was below standard, in my opinion. Attendants were terrific

The staff in Boston and on the flight to London went way above the usual to grandchildren traveling with us

Premium Economy needs an upgrade to seats with foot incliners.

Long lines to drop checked bags. Disappointed the CLEAR Enrollment did not provide expected service for TSA security at Boston airport.

Just a wonderful experience flying Virgin Atlantic; probably the most comfortable and relaxing flight with the most wonderful flight attendants I’ve ever experienced!!

Jul 30, 2019

Missed our connection to Manchester. British Airways was so accommodating. Had us rebooked in next flight before we got through customs

The Indian chicken meal I had was amazing! I also enjoyed the Amarula they serve on board. The movies were great too.

Checked bags cost; expected international flights to provide 2 bags free.

BA check in lady in Boston was very unpleasant. “If you miss your connection it is your problem. I did not book your flight,”

Logan is located on Interstate Highway 90, 4 miles east of Boston's downtown area. Parking is readily available. At $18 per day, the economy lot offers the best bargain. The parking garage is closer to the airport and costs $27 per day. The Metro system also runs to the airport, offering a faster arrival during rush hour traffic. London, Great Britain

More than 30 million people visit London each year. The city is known for its rich cultural heritage and wealth of historical sites. Five airports serve London, but flights from the United States usually arrive at either Gatwick or Heathrow.

Experiencing London

Transportation options are readily available from both Gatwick and Heathrow. Heathrow is the largest airport in London and handles the bulk of international travelers. It is about 20 miles away from the city center. Gatwick is the second-largest airport, residing about 30 miles outside central London. There are regular train connections from both airports: the Gatwick Express, which takes 30 minutes, and the Heathrow Express, which takes 15 minutes.

National Express also runs coaches from each airport for approximately $10 per person; this is a good option if you cannot manage your luggage easily on your own. From Heathrow, you can also take the London Underground system into the city. Taxis and rental cars are also available from the airport.

London is rainy year-round, and it rarely experiences hot weather. The hottest month is July, when temperatures rarely rise above 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Winter days usually stay around 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Visitors to London often come to experience the city's many historic sites, from London Bridge to the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. London is also home to a replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the towering London Eye and the National Gallery museum.
