The city of Chicago receives most of its air service from O'Hare International Airport. The airport lies outside of the city, about 17 miles from the city's center. The trip from the center of town to the airport is no problem, as the city's Blue Line train will get you there for just $2.25. Taxi service to the airport is also available for about $40. The train will get you there in 45 minutes, while the taxi takes 30. Driving to the airport is also an option, with parking available at daily rates beginning at $9. If you plan to park for more than 30 days, you will need to reserve a space ahead of time.

The airport features a number of restaurants. Tuscany and Manchu Wok are just a couple of the more traditional restaurants available, but there are a few fast-food restaurants as well, including McDonald's and Brioche Doree. June is a bit warmer, with temperatures running between the low 70s and upper 50s. You can dress a little lighter then, but you will still need a jacket. September temperatures range from the high 60s to low 50s, so dress should be about the same as that worn for a trip in May. London is also a rainy city, so be sure to bring along an umbrella.
