This property is not a regular hotel. It is excess university dorm rooms that are rented out for accommodation. Adjust your expectations accordingly. They are not well set up for travelers, meaning that there is no great place to put a suitcase, no shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. The bed is functional but not necessarily comfortable. Mine was hard. But it was clean, quiet, and very convenient to one of the South Kensington stations. Something to know, however, is that even though this entrance is an easy 2-minute walk from the rooms, it is not close to the actual train lines. After entering the underground there is a 5-10 minute walk to the train platforms. If you would like to be on the trains more quickly, I suggest looking for alternative accommodation.

Beware, this is not a hotel at all. This is literally a college campus that they are renting out for the summer. The rooms are very tiny and Jail like dormitories. It is essentially the bare minimum, no mini fridge, no phone in room, no anything. The worst part was there is a daily fire alarm that happens just from the steam of the shower. I would not stay in this place if it was the last place on earth.

This place was excellent. The room was clean and nice, and the bathroom was also clean and spacious. The breakfast included in my package was excellent. It’s a beautiful safe area to stay in, and everything was convenient. My only complaint was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all.

Princess Gardens Hotel Imperial College.

It was an easy check in, very helpful staff in the reception area. The location was great for the museums and tube. The room was very basic which was what we expected for the money paid. However the cleanliness of the bathroom was poor lots of mould etc. Carpets also could do with cleaning.

This is not a hotel

This is NOT a hotel, it is student accomodation rented out. This is not made clear at all. The rooms are tiny, beds are uncomfortable and being woken up at 05:00 for a fire alram was just the final straw in a terrible experience.

My experience was not bad. I was missing a fan and my bed was too small therefore, I didn’t sleep comfortably. The staff made my experience good. They will quickly assistance with any issue. The area is safe and walkable to visit some of London attractions. The dorms do feel hot. I would recommend solo travelers to check this place out.

Avoid - rip off

Huge queue at 2pm as no one was allowed to check in before. Then lots of people started cutting in line and no staff stopped them. Room was boiling - small fan, small window and unable to cool room. No air con. Mattress lumpy and cheap - with springs digging into back. Cleaners noisy outside room. For £96 I would never book again - it's sub-standard student digs. Will get comfy premier inn or similar WITH air con short tube ride away. Woke up following day knackered from poor sleep and massive headache from heat.
