Excellent value in good location, 10 minute walk through very nice neighborhood to Earl's Court underground station. Plenty of amenities on site, including great little coffee shop. Rooms were modern, good size, and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

heating didnot work, very noisy when fan or heater turned on

could not really say if the heating worked or not - switched thermostat setting to the max [i guess 26 deg c], , and moved fan setting to 1 - no apparent heat coming, a little annoying noise; noise more annoying at the 2 setting and very annoying when set at 3 with cold air blowing instead of heat - decided to switch off. Bathroom drain had an annoying suction system when taking a shower, but only for that short duration. Also the bath door "stall " would not close - causing some water to splash out.

Our non-smoking room smelled like someone had been smoking in it moments before we arrived. Our AC didn't work properly. The furniture was very old and needed to be replaced. The hotel is in a great location, but is in heavy need of a renovation. Overall Disappointing.

London is a very nice place. we toured different places and Windsor castle is amazing. Stonehenge is very unique. Kensington palace is also great.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I stayed at the hotel 5 nights. The staff was very helpful and always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this hotel.

Worn, old fixtures, idiosyncratic lighting controls in the rooms. The management of the bar is terrible. Three nights in a row I had to chase the staff to get a drink--and then wait to get my bill. Fire them all--or at the very least get some management.

First time in London and heard horrible stories about hotels, but I'm happy to say this one was a pleasant surprise. It was in a great neighborhood and the staff was very nice.

The hotel easy to reach in Kensington by taxi or public transport . In the area you will find several small pubs (not many) and restaurants of medium to good quality. The hotel staff is pleasant and working to make your stay good. The hotel has a brasserie and Chinese style restaurant with good quality food and ok prices. The staff of restaurant is friendly. Generally the rooms have most amenities you might expect.

9 days and 8 nights...it was not excellent but it is very comfortable except on a day the aircondition did not work but was fixed the following day. There was one staff who was curt and was not happy serving us...maybe because it was late in the evening. Thank you.

Very nice. Modern condition and updated. Large room for London. Very convenient to tube and shops. Horrible WiFi and no business center.

Great location, great neighborhood. Room lacked storage drawers, no shears on windows, curtain rod not attached on each end.

Bad internet (pretty useless). Dated facilities. Small double bed. Club lounge food isnt great. Coffee machine sucks

The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent. Being located 1 long block from the Kensington High Street Underground station made it a great place to be located - especially if you are arriving via LHR. Breakfast is excellent and Marco the Concei concierge was extremely helpful. We will stay there again.

Friendly staff very helpful, clean, nice size rooms.

quiet and a great location. room was clean and staff was nice.

I had a great stay at Copthorne Kensington which is my first trip to London. Love the not too tourist atomsphere, felt we safe going back to the hotel at 10pm all nights that I was there. Close to High Street which made is very special & transportation was a breeze. You had the buses, underground & the cabs right at your door step so to speak. For a first timer in London got around very well with maps & directions from people I met along the way. People of London were very accommodating with directions. Will be back for round two sometime this year.

I always stay at the Copthorne Tara, has a great, safe location.

Tara is a block away from High St Kensington Underground, but, is tucked back off the main street, so you don't hear traffic and noise yet have the convenience of train, taxis, shops and restaurants. Staff was very helpful.

Going back to Tara is like visiting the familiar. It changes in small ways from year to year but it is reliable and excellent value. The staff and location are two of the high points - the staff actually recognized me from past visits. The room was perfectly adequate - an excellent value for the cost.
