We LOVED staying here!! The location is so convenient with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and the train station and underground are right around the corner. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a beautiful room. My daughter and I hope to stay here again someday!

Walking in the entrance gives a great first impression that we chose the right hotel. Our stay of three days was great, the way the building is arranged we had no wall to wall neighbors, so it was very quiet. Great air-conditioning! Beautiful rooms/bathrooms! Overall amazing experience! Starbucks inside the lobby and direct access to all major forms of transportation, yet still quiet? Amazing! Staff was very helpful. If i had to pick a complaint it would be the long walk to our room, the elevator was out of order one day and it was quite a few stairs.

Probably one of the best night sleeps I have experienced whilst travelling abroad. Fortnum and Masons was above and beyond my expectations would definitely stay here again. Next time book a room with En Suite bath..not a lover odf showers.

Hotel is convenient to Victoria Staton for Trains and tube service. Nice home base to tour London. When we arrived early our room was not ready and they tried to upscale me $700 pound up charge which I declined to book in early. One lift didn’t work upon arrival and both lifts had failed 2 days later so we climbed an awful lot of stairs. Also they had direct access to the station but closed that down after 2 days as well. So what started off nice went downhill slowly. Also they wanted 28 pounds for breakfast which I thought was rather high. So we ate out instead.

We had a lovely stay here. The sole working lift did stop working which was clearly causing issues. Unfortunately with old buildings like this one it is ‘just one of those things’. Once both lifts are fully operational there will, hopefully, be less of a problem if one stops working. It didn’t put us off staying again (and we were on the 6th floor!) Our room was lovely and the included minibar a welcome extra at the end of long days on our feet exploring London!

The room was quiet and the beds are comfortable. We liked the body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided. The rain shower was easy to enter, not a bathtub with a huge rim to fall over. You cannot beat the location for access to transportation options.

We stayed for 3 nights. Room very nice. Breakfast buffet very good with many choices. Staff very friendly, helpful. Beautiful old building. Elevators/lifts broken and had to use service elevator or walk 5 flights of stairs. Requested small face towels twice and never got. Requested taxi for specific time the night before check out to go to airport, but was not arranged by staff as promised. The manager, Barbara, was very apologetic and gave us a 15% discount on our stay. Service recovery well done. Not perfect, but very nice hotel.

The room was clean but starting to show wear in the bathroom. The towels were not as flush as I would have expected for this level of hotel. No wash cloths. Elevator was broken. We were on the 5 th floor. Not convenient for luggage. The staff did bring down the luggage for us. The breakfast is not worth the price. Food is just not that good.

Room was very small and in worn condition. It was difficult getting our bags through the door due to a jog in the wall causing a pinch point. Hardly any space to keep your suitcase and get around the bed.

The room was nice but a bit small for a family room. Service was excellent. The bathroom wasn’t the best. The tub was high and difficult to get into. Overall a good location. Easy access to public transportation.
