Cute place on the bay. Easy parking and in quiet area. Rooms are older but updated. Can choose room size needed.

Great view and location at North end of Long Key Bridge

Great little place in the Keys. Pretty distant from restaurants and stores. Only negative; lots of noise outside from neighbors. Some yard games etc right on your front doorstep going on during the day. Clean, safe and friendly-

I have previously stayed in this hotel with my family. We usually all rent small rooms and spend the weekend there. We figured since we always just stay in one persons room, this time we would rent the townhouse together. When we first arrived the front desk staff was extremely rude and let us know that there couldn’t be more than 6 people. The townhouse has two rooms with 1 king bed and 1 sofa each. Plus a sofa bed room downstairs. There was plenty of space for more people. I showed them that online it says you can pay for additional guest ($15 per guest) and they told me in a nasty attitude to ignore anything the website says. We tried to reason with the staff and they were just closed off and unwilling to help us at all. I would understand if the hotel provided breakfast or some additional amenities but they don’t. We bring our own food so it’s like we are stealing anything from the hotel. The front desk staff even threaten us with calling the cops if they saw more than the 6 desk in our rental unit. We did see throughout the hotel that in other rooms with less beds there was an excessive amount of guest. So I guess the new policy only applies to certain people. These rooms were booked earlier this year and being 4th of July weekend, my family ended up having to rent in a very expensive hotel near by and when they came the next day to just hang out again the staff seems to be overly excited to target my family once again. They didn’t even allow them to stay with us. The st

Nice property with priceless view

Everything was great. Rooms nice and clean. Loved being right on the water. Only negative was only one electric plug in bathroom and things did not stay in it and there was nothing to sit suitcase on or dresser to put clothes so had to live out of messy suitcase all week and had to put it on table and chairs so wasn't on the floor.

Great Attention

Nice ocean front room that was clean and had everything that I expected.

The location was great and we loved the water front room, the ability for our son to fish right off the docks was a huge perk. Got to see a manatee, nurse shark, and sting rays up close and personal too. The pool was nice, but was dirty the first day of our stay. Our shower only had scalding hot water the first night until I found someone to fix it the next day. It would have been nice to have gotten new towels, washcloths, etc at some point during our 3 night stay, it was hard to catch someone from the property, and being in the Keys we were rarely around when there was someone on site.

It was nice to have kitchenette in room. Pool was nice too.

Our room right on the water was great. Updated and had everything we needed. Tight fit for our family of 4, but that was to be expected. Kids loved having the ocean right out our door to play in. Great location in the middle of the Keys with easy driving to parks and activities in both directions.

The location was perfect and the laid back atmosphere was just what we were looking for.

Hello Alain, We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience on your last stay, however Alain as mentioned by our front desk staff at check in , also stated at time of booking the maximum allowed for the townhouse is 6 guest. The rate when you book online is based on 4 guest therefor yes you do have the availability to add 2 additional guest for $15 per guest per night until the maximum allowed for your room is reached. Unfortunately when your party arrived with a total of 9 guest & we had no other rooms available to accommodate the 3 additional guests that exceeds the maximum allowed of 6 for the townhouse, their isn't much our staff could do as we must comply with the maximum allowed per room type as per our hotel license states, any guest on property was a registered guest always complying with the maximum allowed per room type. My apologizes if you felt like the staff member was targeting your family in any way as this is never our intention other than making sure all of our guest needs are accommodated the best way possible, as you may have experienced on your previous stays. We still making sure the rules are followed The "No Visitors Allowed" policy must be adhered by all our guest to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our registered paying guests. Thank you for choosing Edgewater Lodge
