Per the cost you cannot beat the location. Does it need updating, yes. Would it cost double the amount then, yes. So I was very happy with the overall experience. Staff was very attentive. I would return.

Place is old and run down, however the beds were amazing with soft clean sheets n pillows. Staff was very pleasant n helpful.

Location

It has everything you could want. Pool, restaurant, tiki bar, besutiful beach. The only bad thing is it's old and outdated. Needs tender loving care and paint. But it's kept very clean and staff is awesome. That is why we have come back and would come back.

Very nice. Been there before.

Property need a total rebuild, at list no roches or anything like it. Good price and close to the Golf of Mexico. Good location.

It was a great property but was in some serious disrepair.

The conditions of the property are embarrassingly poor and badly need repairs. Rusted doors etc. My ceiling was dripping water, probably from the AC.

Stayed mostly right at the resort. Restaurant had great food! Ocean and pools are excellent! Free shuttle to Armand Circle was great!

Overall I was very pleased ! The staff was all very nice… the pool .. bar and restaurant on site along with the private beach access was really nice ! My only complaint is the rooms are sooo outdated and need some TLC!

Enjoyed our stay. There beach is to die for. Will return to this property. Thank you guys.

The resort is a bit outdated but we loved the location on the beach. they ran out of chairs and umbrellas and the staff assisting in the set up was very unfriendly. Ricardo was the only really helpful enjoyable part of the beach chair situation. the staff didn't even offer to DRIVE the chairs down the beach, we had to drag them ourselves while we waited for the dude to drive to us? Wish Ricardo had been outside that day! the tiki bar was a great location but the staff seemed annoyed that they ha to serve drinks and it was not even a full bar. They have complimentary waters so that was nice. The restaurant staff was kind. Front desk check in was easy and Toni was amazing. She was helpful and cheerful and just the kind of welcome you want on a vacation. We were told we could do a late check out by another very helpful front desk staff member, which was very nice as our flight was delayed. Unfortunately, the management was unable to accommodate the late check out and was rather rude in handing the situation. while we were given extra time, we were made to feel as if we were at fault and as a former hotel manager, I was appalled at the way the guest services spoke to my friend. the resort is in a great location, the sprinter busses and the trolley are a great resource to getting in and out of downtown and the circle. the resort itself is outdated and the staff seemed to be noticeably unhappy minus a few very kind individuals. we will not be back to sandcastle.

The most beautiful beach in the world is just steps away! Which was good as I did not want to spend any time in the room. I asked for a quiet room away from the ice maker and elevator, but not the parking garage as that has never been an issue before in places I have stayed. So I was placed right next to a parking garage, which meant I had a steady stream of cars, honks and one night some loud clanging that sounded like someone taking a lid off a garbage can and just slamming it against a dumpster over and over again. I eventually called the front desk and they sent someone out there and thankfully the clanging subsided. I had a hot shower 2 out of 4 nights :/ The water pressure was non existent ( I get that alot of places have light water pressure but this was so light I did not wash my hair as I didn't think I would ever get the shampoo out) More people than I expected smoking around the property. Overall, the features of the hotel are fine, just wish I didn't have the room next to the raceway.

The location is great! On the beach, two nice size pools, restaurants and bar. The lobby gave free cookies and apples. Bottle of water whenever you were thirsty and coffee every morning 7-11am (free). Great stay

amazing property just needed update! i would stay agin!!!

It was like a memorable trip back in time to old Florida style and charm
