very nice staff, convience location, reasonable price. Beach has a lot of seaweeds in the afternoon, early morning water is clear and no seaweed. Road Construction is on going in front of hotel, they should have installed some lighting in the entrance of 98 E roadway for ease of exit and enter at night

Nice hotel

We arrived on Sunday to the hotel. We had a hiccup as soon as we arrived as our card was charged twice as we checked in. Almost $900 twice. As of now after checking out on Wednesday the charges are still pending. The agent did comp our drink cups and early check in fee. The thermostat on our wall was also torn off and couldn't be replaced. We had to try to operate it from the actual unit which didn't work well. The staff was nice, the food was good. They had great activities for the kids. The pool area was nice and clean as was the lobby. All in all it was a good experience minus the credit card snafu and thermostat.

The breakfast buffet was a wonderful addition to our stay. It was nice knowing that you had a delicious meal waiting for you once you woke up and were ready to take on the day. Complimentary coffee and tea should be available all day and at night and was not. Breakfast should be offered complimentary as an option and was not. Our room cleaning service had issues. Cooley was great and friendly and helpful. A lady who cleaned our floor though whose name I don’t have was rude and condescending and would question us when we needed things.

This was a great experience. It was nice to be right on the beach, and able to move between the book and the beach. Also, was nice to be able to use the pool at the neighboring Hilton hotel to switch things up. Only negative is the construction that is going on with the bridge, but obviously out of the hotels’ control.

Summer Vacation That Didn't Live Up To Expectation

As Holiday Inn Club Members and IHG Elite Level guests we do a fair bit of traveling and this hotel did not live up to expectations. From the rushed check in when we arrived, to the missing towels and shower curtain in our room. The sink being backed up in our bathroom the entire stay after I mentioned it two seperate times. The main reason for us staying here was the lazy river with waterfall which wasn't working. And last the most egregious thing was my son being stuck in the elevator and NONE of the emergency buttons inside working. Thank God he had his phone to call us or who knows how long he would have been stuck in there! Very poor experience and we would never stay here again for 600+ dollars a night we paid. I expected much better for my family and our vacation.
