In general, I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Edge Resort. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the ocean and the Marina. The property in general looks beautiful with an island vibe touch and it’s really pleasant to walk around. The staff at the front desk were friendly and polite. My only complaint is the restaurant. Extremely overpriced for the poor quality of the breakfast offered and the terrible customer service. The only thing I can save is the key lime pie. My advice, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Key West, this is a lovely option, just don’t go to the restaurant.

I was expecting the grounds to be more lavish. Pool & hot tub are average. Exterior of hotel is average. Our room faced an area of stagnate water, which created a lot of mosquitos, so couldnt enjoy our balcony. There is a big need for a convenient store on the property. You have to take the hotel shuttle for necessities. The hotel shuttle is a nice perk if you fly in & don't rent a car. The harbor around the hotel is beautiful.

The front desk help were excellent. Told me about the amenities, they texted me to see if we needed anything. We had a bit of rain and I received another text letting me know about things to do In the rain at the resort and in town . So thoughtful. I would recommend this resort highly . Friendly staff, had a couple minor issues in our room but contacted front desk and things were taken care of immediately! Lots of activities located on property (kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, & pools). This is located away from the hustle and bustle of Key West so it’s quiet. The shuttle is a plus but it would be nice if it could stop on the other side too. We never ate on the property and probably our biggest disappointment was that there wasn’t a microwave in the rooms. We didn’t realize there were so many lizards & iguanas so it hampered some of our time at the pool. Our problem, we just didn’t like them.
