This is an old resort that has been updated to a degree. Our room was nice enough, and the grounds had been taken care of nicely. The shortfall of the hotel is the breakfast buffet and the room cleaning. The breakfast buffet is billed at the restaurant ate of $27 per person, but it might be worth $10 at best. And then there is almost always a chronic shortage of food on the buffet. When we woke up our first morning, I called and asked to have our room cleaned. It didn't happen, sop I called again at 2:00. Both times I was promised it would be cleaned. It NEVER happened. And the only excuse was that they were busy.

Great amenities on the property. Room was cleaned a bit nicer our second day. Floors in room need to be swept a bit better. Also unexpected card hold amount when checking in. Expedia said one amount but when checking in it was about 200$ more then amount told.. Great breach view.

Terrible place to stay, i vacay alot in many countries. Im an American and when i vacation in America i believe we (as a non thirld world country) should be able to trust the property have certain standards and principals, this place has none. Dont believe the price on the Expedia site, in stead add $ 50/day for parking and resort fees. Cant bring your own drinks to the pool, so i bought 3 drinks for $56 . One small hottub that there was never a vacancy on our 7 day stay during Christmas with less than half of the rooms occupied. We bought the breakfast buffet package that sucked and they charged you extra for tip, at $24.95/day. No one at the resort spoke English as their first language Walls are paper thin so you hear everything that happens all night. Hvac is so loud you cant have a conversation, and is not controllable!! Think twice about booking thin nightmare of a vacation property!

Breakfast plan not worth it. Lied to at check in as well. Breakfast $49 to add for 2 persons only (had 4 to a room) breakfast was $100 plus for 4 persons! Allotted $25/pp for 1st two then had to pay plus a "breakfast fee". Not worth it-slow service (one person for whole dining room)

The location is the only thing they have going for them. Nothing was cleaned in the week we were there. Cockroaches found in the rooms. Rooms were falling apart. Had to change rooms 3 times and because they were so bad. We had to settle for a room because they were out of options without down grading our room. Only 1 pool was open/ heated and only 2 of 6 dinning places were open. Trash cans were overflowing. Dirty pool towels were overflowing and never had any ready to take. They never vacuumed the hallways or cleaned the common spaces. There was only 2 staff members that were any help, everyone else was very rude and non-helpful. The food was good but one night we took back leftovers and the next night the portion was half the size of the previous night. Need to work on portion consistency. Every room we were in was different. definitely not child proof, lots of sharp corners. Word of the wise... don't walk bare foot on the "tuff" grass, watched many people let their dogs go pee and poo on the fake grass and lounge chairs.

The only good part of this “resort” is the beachside area that had a bar and a sitting area with board games provided and the view from the beach house building. The resort as a whole seemed like it needed to be closed for a few days and given a deep cleaning and maintenance. The elevators were not cleaned for the three days we were there; they had trash on the floor and smelled like urine. The garbages and towel return areas throughout the resort were normally overflowing. I saw dogs urinate on the turf area that was set up on the coast side of the beach house. The door to our room let a significant amount of light into the room. The breakfast buffet was not good at all. The bacon was overcooked and extremely salty, the sausages tasted like rubber, the fruit was slimy, and everything else looked even more unpleasant. Lastly, when checking out I still had a balance to pay which I was not made aware of. The balance was a Daily “resort fee” with a separate tax for each day as well as a “parking fee” with another separate tax for each day. When booking I was under the impression that everything was included in the price I payed when I originally booked the stay. Overall I do not recommend staying here.
