This property is very outdated definitely not worth the $300 a night and not really what I would call a resort. I actually paid for a beach view room but when I got there all they had left was a pool view room it was so cold we were not even able to use the pool and we could never get into the hot tub because it was crowded I was wishing there was a time limit on there
Love the beach. The volleyball tournament was a nice surprise. What is the grotto pool so cold?? The grotto bar could get a lot more business if the water was more inviting.
Ok
Thoroughly enjoyed all the staff members. Everyone that we bumped into had a smile on their face and greeted us and seemed very happy with their jobs. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The property was very well maintained. Was constantly seeing something worked on and areas cleaned.
The location was great and the food options were good. The condition of the rooms has a lot to be desired. The balcony has standing water and some of the water kept coming inside the room. The AC broke down on the last night and we were misled into thinking that it is just a 15 min job. The tech came at midnight and kept us awake for an hour. He wanted to replace the whole unit, but then there was a shirt-circuit which gave out sparks and smoke. It was a miracle that the curtains next to it did not catch fire. It was our last night there and we just wanted to get out safely - so we went to bed with just a fan and the balcony door open. At that point, the hotel staff offered to allow us to sleep in another room in a different building, but at 1:30 AM we were too tired to move. The hotel staff refunded the resort fee parking which was $30/day compared to $500/day for the accommodation. We could not convince them that it does not go far enough! I would look for other places next door, especially if you are spending on premium accommodation.
Had a roach in my bathroom our bathroom.. Rooms are super tiny and black mold around the shower. The shower doesn't have a door, so floors and wall get wet. Walls are so thin, so you hear everything. Spent $90 on 3 tacos, shrimp, and wings. Food wasn't even good!!. . Parking sucks and the smell of weed throughout. People parking in fire lanes, so I'm assuming that's a big fine. Air conditioner sounds like a plane is taking off. All the pools had stuff floating in them. This is a motel not a hotel and very dated. Very disappointed for the $$$ of this resort, so we checked out a day early. 😞 MaJfriendly, a
Property right on the beach, two swimming pools and a hot tub on the property, several restaurants/ bars on the property and many within a walk.
The only thing I liked was the beach in front of the hotel.
I loved the pool area and the beach! The staff were very friendly. The rooms were not as nice as I thought they would be based off of pictures but they were sufficient. We only ate at one place within the resort and it was just ok.
Very nice, clean and lots to do in the area. I think it was very fairly priced
Great property right next to an area with restaurants & bar, and long pier.
View was great. Heated pool was a plus
The hallways echoed so you could hear everything everyone said as they walked down the halls. We had a group near us who were in and out until 4am. The view from our room was spectacular, however. If you have a hard time sleeping through noise, this hotel may not be for you.
