Arrived to the welcome that the card machine has been down for 4 days and can only take cash payments. Requested TV service since TV seemed stuck on one channel. Took 3 days for them to resolve the issue by telling me what to do. Hard driveway to get out of if not real early or real late.

Just horrible customer service

This is the worst hotel in the US. When I checked in the room at 9pm, the room was not cleaned at all from previous guest. Toilet was not flushed. Bed looked like a couple just had wrestling session all day long. Opened beer bottles and glasses on the table. Trash and dirty towels were all over the floor. A few paintings on the walls were missing with wall openings and nails sticking out from the walls. Elevators were not in service. The carpet looks dirty in the room, in the hallway and staircase. It was a shame since it is a big property and have great potential with some minor cosmetic remodeling. The overnight front desk receptionist was the only thing close to average about this hotel.

This hotel is NASTY! The front desk staff for the first night when we got there about 3am she was very nice and apologized for the issues we had just walking in the room. They charge 50 deposit which is fine but the rooms were so nasty it’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at for it to be a Wyndham hotel. I’ve worked for Wyndham and this isn’t up to standards! They had bed bugs in the second room! Ate my poor daughter up! We literally threw away all her things that were in that room! The manager was supposed to call me today! No phone call! I will never use orbitz or that hotel again! I’ll stay at my usual Places when I travel to Houston again! The housekeeper was nasty they didn’t even refresh our room! We had to go to the front desk to get towels because when I called the front desk said they can’t leave and it was 2 of them sitting there! Not only that I didn’t have a coffee maker and when they gave me one it was broken! I understand pandemic but this hotel sucks and it had nothing to do with pandemic they can get on with that excuse This was last minute booking for us NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Pillow cases were dirty with dark spots like it was dragged on the floor. bedsheets do not feel fresh. Toilet seat wobbling and bathroom hastily cleaned with smudging sticky streaks. Sofa is visibly darkened on the bottom part from not being cleaned regularly. Dirt and long time dust everywhere in corners and switches. Hallways and stairs looked like were not vacuumed for a week. NO INTERNET. Any bluecollar or whitecollar profesional travelling must have WIFI. I did not expected top noch service or 4-5 star treatment but in 2020 JUST GET THE BASICS RIGHT: HYGENE AND WIFI. This is my first time writing a bad review about a hotel or restaurant. The receptionists apologized and they were both polite and communicative. The cleaning lady came back and replaced the pillows, but the rest cannot be corrected when the management thinks they run a neighborhood gas-station for "second-class" citizens. I went to home depot and got antibacterial Windex and cleaned everything i got in contact with. Pandemic or not, disinfected or not, it was DIRTY.

The rooms were very dirty. No remote for TV nor a phone in room. A terrible experience. Hope they clean it up.

The room was clean enough, but the hallways and common spaces were filthy and hadn't been cleaned in some time. The entire property was run down, and whoever worked there was not taking any pride. We were told there would be no maid service on Xmas Day, which is completely fine. Unfortunately, there was no maid service the entire duration of our visit (Dec 23-26). Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Front desk staff very kind at check in, Lobby area nice. Room stuffy smelling and humid upon check in. 1 lamp & outlet didn't work. No cups for in room, only lids. Seemed like facility had been kept in good repair until maybe the last year or 2; quite a bit of rust around door facing in bathroom. Bathroom mirror and wall around mirror not very clean, had a hidden message written when mirror steamed up from shower. Bathroom needed a vent for bathroom humidity and privacy. Resident spider in closet. Vending machines all empty; pool heater not working and I guess hadn't been in a while bc I had read that in a previous review from a couple of weeks before. Whirlpool was out of order. One elevator smelled a bit like a skunk. "breakfast buffet" was likely prepared by staff using only a microwave and toaster oven but still very appreciated. The night desk clerk could have been a little bit cheerier. Room card wouldn't open back door and & no parking in front avail. so had to call other room guest to come let us in late that night after attending an event, made us very nervous having to wait outside. Upon checkout we took advantage of luggage cart to wheel our things to back door and housekeeper stopped us explaining in only Spanish? repeatedly. Finally realized she thot we were taking cart outside but did let us use cart after we agreed not to take it out of bldg. Great price, decent hotel, felt safe. Concerned for hotels future based on suspected recent decline in quality.
