Hotel is clean and up to date. We were given the wrong room at check up, but that was an easy fix once we saw that we had walked into the wrong room. Nice, modern room. Bed is really comfortable. Water pressure of the shower is really good.
There’s a lot to do in the area. Not far from activities or food.
First time in Houston and it was a great time! Great location and great staff.
C Baldwin has updated rooms and overall that part of our stay was good. The issue was the staff and lack of services. We requested a room cleaning, it didn’t happen. When I asked they said it was because of Covid and I had to request it- which I had upon checkin the night before. Annoying. The downstairs the bar was closed for private events both nights of our stay. Then day of checkout we requested a luggage cart and they said there were too few valet hands to do it at the time. When we got downstairs there were 6 valets just standing around. If you are looking for a full service hotel this is not one, so be prepared.

Extremely unprofessional staff. Location has no other parking, but valet. Valet damages guests vehicles, since valet drivers cannot drive.

The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated with so many photo ready backdrops. I was pleased with style of both are standard room and corner room. Definitely would stay again. Valet Parking was very convenient.
My husband and I had a staycation at the C. Baldwin, and it was the perfect environment to unwind. The room was incredibly clean, and the staff was very helpful. The only downer was that none of the food and beverage options were open due to COVID-19 restrictions. However, there are plenty of near-by dining options that deliver (and the hotel staff will help in arranging that) as well as dine-in options that are a short walk or drive from the hotel. Regarding parking, we did the valet option which has come-and-go privileges and we found it very easy to request our car (all done via text). The decor is beautiful both in the common areas as well as the room itself. We are looking forward to our next stay at the C. Baldwin.
We stayed on the 18th floor and no microwave, no coffemaker and only a chiller in a drawer. They did have a common coffee maker in the lobby....in the middle of a pandemic. View was good for July 4th fireworks.
