It was difficult to find no name in front of the hotel. Because it was during renovations hotel had no amenities ie restaurant, pool, bar etc. Nothing near the hotel either

We had no access to a microwave our food that we bought outside of the hotel. We had to actually walk across the street and warm food at the hotel across the street. Why have a refrigerator but no way of warming up the food? There is also no pool at this location. There was no mention of renovations going on at this hotel.

property was horrible and hot . no ice in ice machine . we checked out the same day and went to a la quinta and had wayyyy better service

Property under rennovation ammenities not available

Didn’t know it was under construction when we booked. I’m sure it is a wonderful property but working around the construction was a pain. Rooms were clean and nicely updated though!

Hotel was under construction no lobby pictures didn’t match the hotel.

Couldn’t find the entrance until we had circled the property three times. Construction made checking in and parking a nightmare. The valet team worked tirelessly to keep us safe from incoming traffic while getting into and out of our vehicles the whole weekend. No fun.

Generally run down, hotel itself is just in a shabby condition. Not the area that is being remodeled, I mean the other areas of the hotel, i.e. hallways, elevators, etc. The air conditioning filter in the closet of the room was disgusting, it seemed as if it hadn't been changed in months; the black ceiling by the vent would back that assumption up. Hair in the sink in the bathroom and in the nighstand. Grout in bathroom was horrible on the floor and shower.

I didn’t know the hotel was under construction. The lobby area is not as nice as it used to be. Hope the construction will help.

A valet staff member stole my jacket from my vehicle. Hilton has not contacted me about reimbursement of my property. I will not stay here again!!!

We only stayed one night, but made the most of it. Hotel is in a good location not far from the Zoo or Downtown Aquarium. They offer a shuttle service at no additional cost to and from almost any location in the city. Fresh cookies upon check in. Check in was easy and stress free. Staff very friendly and hospitable.

Shower head discharge was horrible, given price of rooms expected better. Hotel is showing it's age needs to be re-modeled, re-freshed. Much nicer and newer hotels in downtown Houston area than this one.

Great location and price - should have known there was a catch- rooms were so outdated and old, my room was gross. Sheets stained, holes in sheets, dirty and illfitting bedskirt. I didn’t even want to touch the curtains they were so nasty you could see how dingy they were where everyone has touched them over the years & they were never cleaned. Carpet was old and gross. Bed was squeaky. Phone in room was comical it was so vintage, and again was dirty.

We ended up in an ADA room for some reason without requesting that. The hotel is clean but definitely dated in style. Parking was $34 per night but the staff was very accommodating in getting the car out of parking and ready for us and quickly. Still a little high but overall the price was competitive compared to other surrounding hotels.

Excellent staff, very clean rooms, would definitely stay there again

Greater with friendly staff and our room was clean but the bathroom sink faucet was leaking and the closet sliding door was stuck open.Yet the bed was comfortable including the pillows. Furniture was clean and comfortable. The shower was setup for a wheelchair access. Front desk staff were very helpful.
