I found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious and very clean. There was a large screen HD TV and the internet connection never failed. We stayed two nights and each morning we left about 4AM and the staff gave us a bagged breakfast because we would miss the regular breakfast hours. I stay at this hotel at least twice a year and stay at many hotels almost every weekend. This is my favorite.
Key card machine not working. Clerk had to work front desk and go unlock rooms with master card!! Many times! Thin walls, dirty tub, hair on sheets!!! Wet floors in elevator never attended to. Breakfast room to small for the number of people, impossible to have any breakfast.....
This is a nice Hampton property, although I can tell it is a little older. I enjoyed the hospitality the front desk showed and the room itself was good too. I stayed with my family in this hotel for three nights recently and we were all comfortable in our room. Of note, this hotel is located on the frontage road of a major highway and the frontage road carries one-way traffic heading South, therefore if you are coming from the South, you will have to either cut through a gas station parking lot next door to access the hotel or you have to drive farther North, then turn around and come back South to the hotel. That can be a bit of a hassle during rush hour traffic. The beds themselves are very comfortable and provided three good nights of sleep for my family. The bathroom is spacious as well. There was a mini-fridge and microwave in my room, which I didn't expect. The amount of TV stations were plentiful, as they had DirecTV satellite service. Unfortunately, the second night we were there, a road flooding rain hit the area and the satellite lost signal for well over an hour. This is not the hotel's fault, and just a byproduct of having satellite service. The road flooding rain also sent a bit of rain water into my room's windowsill above the air conditioning unit because the rain was being blown sideways. Not a big problem either. There was one big problem that we experienced, however, and it prompted a call to the front desk. It seemed that some guests down the hall from me decided to throw a party starting at 11 PM one of the nights I stayed at the hotel. These people clearly lack common sense and started using the hallway as the extension of their hotel room. And they were LOUD! There were at least two children with them who were being extremely loud in the hallway, and the parents were also loud. They would broadcast themselves all down the hallway for a while, go into the room, then return to the hallway later with their "fun". By 12:45 AM, I had enough and called the front desk. After explaining that I was on the second floor and being awakened by this family, the front desk employee interrupted me and said, "Yeah, are you referring to the kid on skates going up and down the hallway? Not to worry, I handled that." At that time, my thought bubble is wondering what kind of idiots are in this room allowing a kid to ride skates in the hallway at midnight, but then I had to respond with, "You may want to come back up again because there out in the hallway as we speak, which prompted this call right now". I am assuming that he came back up, because I didn't hear anything else for the rest of the night. Back to a positive note, the breakfast area was well maintained for the most part. Pretty standard fare with hot and cold items, a selection of fruit, and drinks. The first two mornings I was there, there was no orange juice (an out of order sign was covering that option), but the apple juice was good. The morning I checked out, the orange juice was operational again. All in all, I would probably choose this hotel when I'm back in the area as long as I got a good rate like I did this time. The hotel is convenient to a lot of services due to it's location at the intersection of two busy highways. Give it a chance if you're in the area!
We had to stay the night at this hotel as our air condition was out for 3 days until the AC part came in. The location, price, staff and room were all on point and the breakfast was good as well. Thank you Travelocity and Hampton for making those 3 days much more bearable!
One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Very clean and modern hotel with excellent service. Super yummy breakfast. Easy on and off freeway. Many stores and restaurants nearby. Quiet rooms and hallways, comfortable beds and pillows. I wish every hotel I stayed at was just like this one.
Stayed here on business. Rooms were clean. Good location for the north-west of Houston. Breakfast was pretty good, (not enough bacon though!). Staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially the girl behind the desk.
We had an issue with our first room where the AC wasn't working. Night manager Helena went above and beyond to get us settled in. She could tell we were exhausted from driving rather than putting us in another room with possible issue she upgraded us to a suite without hesitation. Excellent experience at this hotel.
Me and another person were putting two dogs on a flight so they could go home to their owners. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and very friendly and nice. Check in was very easy and fast took no time at all which is always nice. Check out was the same fast and easy. Good Job guys!
Superior job from a superior chain of hotels. Their experience shows in the quality of the product made available to clients. Always enjoy a comfortable stay at Hilton. The breakfast is always great and the bed is even better. Five Star!!!!
Disappointed by this hotel. It is not up to the usual standards I expect at Hampton Inn. The beds are saggy and too soft. The Hampton duvet is gone and replaced with an uncomfortable, too heavy comforter. Usually there are a range of pillows but instead all are uniformly too soft. 1 light does not work. There was no binder in the room with hotel information or tv channels. The closet doors don't open sufficiently-poorly designed. The third floor hallways and elevator are not air conditioned. The tv is direct tv which gives you lots of paid programming infomercials and it is hard to find the normal channels. There is trash from prior guest on floor so it appears no one cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom sink is too high. I will never stay here again. Can't sleep in uncomfortable bed. Usually Hampton beds are so comfortable.
