My first experience at this hotel wasn't exactly memorable in a good way. I decided to try it again in case it was a fluke. I'm so glad I did! They really went all out to make this stay a memorable one in the very best way. I can't wait until my next trip to Houston so I can stay there again!
The staff were friendly and the room was clean, but it had popcorn ceilings and the beds seemed a little outdated and stiff. The air conditioning unit also squeaked when it ran periodically. No paint chipping or anything, but could use a remodel.
Staff stated that I did not need to check in for military rate or verify that I was eligible. Staff did not ask about rewards points or anything when I approached. There were issues with the digital key being unresponsive. But, overall not a terrible place to stay. Was in town for that night only. Unlikely to stay at this hotel again.
Nice Hotel in a good neighborhood. Our room was a little noisy due to the air conditioner. This hotel has a really nice area to BBQ, complete with gas grills and comfortable seating! We also enjoyed the basketball court.
AJ, Shaina and Paula were great people. they were friendly, professional and very hard working people. Breakfast was great. Rooms were small and old but room rates are reasonable. The staff really try to help costumers any way can. I would stay in this hotel again.
My wife and I went here because it was close to my son's new house in Cypress Tx. There is tons of construction going on in Houston Tx right now and I would warn you not to go there for quite awhile. This hotel was north west of Houston and it took us awhile to get there because of construction everywhere. The hotel itself is small but nice.
We always prefer to stay at a Hampton Inn whenever possible bc we know what to expect and are never dissatisfied. Hotel can be tricky to get to as the 3 land road in front of the hotel is a one-way.. No street running in opposite direction directly in front of the hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast and always comfortable beds. Will stay there again when we visit family on that side of Houston.
Older, run down hotel. Plenty of other options in the area. Tried to show some Hilton loyalty but was surprised to find they still have the 80’s bedspreads that never get washed. That alone is reason to choose another hotel. Didn’t know those still existed. I just turned up the temp and used the sheet by itself. Really disappointed.
This is the most run down Hampton inn that I have ever stayed. Popcorn ceiling everywhere, the first room that was assigned to us had a noisy A/C. They changed us to another room and the shower sounds as it is going to explode. Too noisy, don’t have insulation windows and you hear the highway loudly. I ask for an extra comforter and was told the are not authorized!??? Definitely not worth $170 a night. Look for other options and location (it is not a nice area, construction area next to the hotel). As a Hilton honors member I am very disappointed with this property. I feel as I am definitely overpaying.
too noisy - there was an alarm that got activated right at midnight and then at 3 AM making us stay up for rest of the night. This was the most uncomfortable stay I have had - informed management and they didn't care about solving the problem.
