This property is a former Marriot Courtyard turned independent. The staff (especially Josh) were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the price was very helpful for Houston. Pros: Very clean spacious room, wooden cabinets and headboard with a cold refrigerator. Quality bedding. Quality bathroom amenities and towels and great showerhead. Convenient and strong anti-slip handle in a small but adequate shower. Good coffee in the rooms. Front desk will provide more. The weather varied during our stay but the thermostat in the room was easy to adjust | the AC unit worked well and quickly on either cool and heat as needed. Fitness room was clean and stocked with towels. Cons: Beds were too soft.

Rooms are very noisy due to highway running next to the property. If you could get room in the back it’s a little better. If you are sensitive to noise while you sleep this is not the place. Staff are nice, when I complained about the noise the first day the moved me to a room in the back.
