The view from my room overlooking the city. The huge shower. I could live there.

This location is very convenient, room is clean and quiet.

Very very clean, and quiet hotel. I ENJOYED my stay very much.

Close to consulate that we needed to visit. not in the midst of heavy traffic. Not difficult to get to from US 90.

I like that it was close to where my appointments were. No free or courtesy bottled water in room. Coffee / tea cups and coffee maker are provided but how can you make coffee or tea without water. All hotels I have been to and all Holiday Inns I stayed in internationally had 2 bottled water every day in the room. No one to help with luggage especially for elderly people. There were also No slippers for use in the room. The carpet was dirty that I was afraid to wallk barefoot on it. Room smelled musty. On my third night coming from shopping, I was carrying 5 bags that I had to put down on the floor to open the door to my room. Alas, the two key cards would not open the door. I called the desk 3 times with my cellphone and no one answered. So I had to go down to the front desk with all the heavy bags to let the front desk personnel know about the key cards. She said they expired. Which means they put in the incorrect number of nights that I was supposed to stay. So the personnel gave me updated key cards with No Apologies at all. Not even a word saying sorry for the inconvenience. Monday morning at 9:30, I approached the frontdesk and the lady behind it was smiling and looking at her cellphone. I asked her a question and she answered me without taking her eyes off her cellphone. Very unprofessional. There was also a time I caught two frontdesk personnel leaning on to the desk with their elbows for a long time while chatting. It didn’t look dignified.

I had a great room and the service was wonderful. I sleep like a baby in a comfortable bed.

nice clean hotel. very fresh and the area close to the viet and china town. Easy to get out to the main interstate. love love love. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Houston. For the price we paid, nothing can't beat. thank you

Nice Staff Nice Hotel Good location Easy access for our trip

The hotel is clean and located in a convenient location for easy access to Highway 8 and China Town, where good foods are abundant. My staying of three days were comfortable. My only complaint is that there is no access to the stairway from the hotel lobby. Due to my personal preference for exercise and for saving electricity which is mostly generated by fossil fuels, I always choose to avoid using the elevator but use the stairway instead if my room is located below the fifth floor. However, I couldn't use the stairway to walk down because it only led to an emergency door on the first floor. If you push or pull open the emergency door trying to enter or exit the stairway, the alarm will sound. And there is no access to the stairway from the lobby.

I at times have difficulty seeing so the nametag of the evening manager I couldn't make out so I don't know his name but he gave excellent customer service. A few times he went above and beyond to help me. If I would book another reservation it would mostly be because of him. John A. Davidson

Hello MrDisappointed, I apologize about the amenities in the rooms. International hotels have different standards and requirements for amenities in the guest rooms than US hotels. I apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations for these.
