From the moment we arrived we were greeted with amazing service. They took it upon themselves to upgrade us to a suite which was a very nice and unexpected perk. It's a very beautiful resort and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning. It's everything one could ask for when visiting a resort.

Disappointing stay. Hotel looked great in pictures. Check in was at 4pm. Arrived at 3:30pm, went straight to Captiva Tower were are room was booked. Upon arrival they told us we had been moved to the main tower. We got back in the car and made the short drive. Upon arrival they told us room was not ready, we were able to leave our bags and they told us they would call when room was ready. We went to dinner, mind you it is 6pm already and no one has called. When we arrive to the hotel again room was not ready and we were told we would be going back to Captiva Tower. Grabbed our bags got in the car again to Captiva Tower. Room did not seem like it was thoroughly cleaned. Mirrors had spots and bathroom had hair on the floor- but by this time I just wanted to settle in.

Great one stop resort. Great restaurants at hotel and marina next door. We fished from a friends boat next door so this was the perfect place. Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Asked for a crib, never delivered. Had to take elevator to get to an ice machine. Air conditioning in room was broken. Shower temptress control was opposite and burnt my daughter. Hotel was not truly Sanibel or Sanibel Harbour. Not what I expected for $300/night.

Very happy with my stay! The room was immaculate, super-comfortable bed, very quiet, staff very accommodating. Several restaurants to choose from & the food was great. My only complaint was that it was located in the harbor on the Ft Myer's side, not on Sanibel Island side. You'll definitely want to rent a car if you wish to do anything other than stay planted at the resort the whole time.

False advertising of where you will be actually staying. We reserved through Orbitz, the picture and the web site shows the main facility with all the amenities. When we showed up, we were told we were staying in the captiva tower. No where does it say that on our reservation, nowhere did it show that as the place we would stay. The captiva tower had no amenities (did have a pool), the pop machine was empty, no food and you had to take a shuttle to the main facility where the restaurants were and where the main pool was located. Back and forth all weekend on the shuttle. Very disappointing.

Nice size room, Comfortable bed, Gorgeous waterfront view, Great Drinks at the bar, Friendly staff....... Excellent weekend

The hotel was very inviting and I had a wonderful stay. The spa treatment was refreshing and invigorating, not to mention the gym. Overall my stay was excellent

Excellent experience unwinding after 5 days at Disneyworld and 3 in South Beach. Beautiful view, so relaxing. However The $118 massage at the spa left much to be desired, so leave that off your schedule. I'd only add the bathrooms need exhaust fans. Beautiful views and property, excellent staff. I'll be back.

Fabulous time! Hotel was more than we expected. Felt very pampered.

Our overall stay was very nice. The location is the biggest asset. The rooms/hallways..elevators, need a GOOD cleaning and some updates.

Perfect place with everything you could want. Kid friendly.

On the Fort Myer side of the Sanibel bridge, so there was good access to Sanibel but no need to fight the bridge traffic to go elsewhere.

We had a beautiful fun trip with lots of sunshine. Staff was very helpful and kind! At first they wanted to put us in another tower. Wasn't happy with room choice then they gave me a beautiful water front room where we could see the sunset each night. Would stay there again.

It was a very nice stay for our two nights in fort Myers. It was more than what I had expected for the price and the amenities were excellent.

We visited this hotel as a part of a 4-day getaway. Based on the hotel cost and reviews, we expected a superior experience. However, in the end it was an acceptable hotel. The people were very (very) nice, and the location is ideal (right off Sanibel island). However the property is a bit run down. Our room needed a refresh, and the main areas of the hotel (e.g. the pool, patio, etc.) needed to be redone. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. However, given the price we expected more. Also I stay at Marriotts fairly often so I know what to expect. This hotel was sub-par.

My boyfriend and I decided to watch the sun rise on the east coast of Florida and set on the west coast in the same day. We chose the resort based solely on its location on a map and the cost. What we got was so much more! The view from the lobby was spectacular. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a water view room upon arrival because bookings were light that night. Wow! Our balcony view of the water, pool below, and most importantly the SUNSET was amazing! We ended up ordering room service and stayed in to enjoy it to the fullest. Best blind choice we ever made and will most definitely return!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are so clean and all the amenities are extremely nice. It is right on the harbor. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at!

Our stay was fabulous. The staff was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. They gave us directions to places we wanted to go. The best part of our stay was taking the Sanibel Harbour Dinner Cruise. It was wonderful. The staff on board were great and the food was delicious--a wonderful way to celebrate our 40th anniversary.
