Convenient and acceptable.

In a good location for Aston and easy access to Birmingham centre too. The staff are friendly and helpful and ensured that dietary needs were met. Breakfast was good. The room was clean but dated and rather worn in places. The air conditioning unit outside the room was very noisy. Car park is close to the hotel, but involves climbing up 5 steps, so not ideal for the less mobile.

Ok here goes, first time using the Conference Aston Hotel, on the outside it looks great, on the inside, it’s a different story altogether! Dining was basic, the bedrooms were ok, but not great for a 4 star rating hotel! The only consolation was the excellent staff like Kacper for providing excellent service and to Karen in the restaurant!

I would stay again

All in all it is a pretty good place to stay, the room was generally quite clean, provided tea and coffee, body wash, shampoo & conditioner (personally the smell wasn't to my taste but I won't mark down for that). The location is excellent with food options about if you don't fancy what is on the menu. Their food was nice and gets delivered to your room quickly at no extra cost. My only issue was that I requested no onions on my meal and there was loads of onions on it and I can't eat them. The staff are friendly and the building is modern. I personally found the bed a bit uncomfortable, but for what I needed it was fine. There are parking options about too if you look for them. Adams Street car park is 10 minutes and £3 for 24 hours which you can renew up to 5 days. The hotel met most of my expectations except the bed

+ve Helpful staff Good location close to shops, cafes and university. Nice environment. Room had everything that I needed. Ideal for solo traveller. Fair price. Pool, steam room, gym, etc available for guests in nearby building. -ve Corridors are tired and in need of renovation. Room was small. No air conditioning - I was grateful for the fan provided. Glass, mug and spoon was not cleaned properly. Overall, I would happily stay again.

I arrived late at night, reception guided me from the car park to the venue over the phone, which was helpful. My room was much better than expected, spacious, clean, the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was good quality & plentiful, dinner was pleasant too, & both good value. The staff were always polite & helpful. Situated well for the town centre & rail travel. All in all a lovely stay, far exceeding my expectations.

Nice Stay

Was a very pleasant stay. Hotel is located on campus at Aston University on the edge of Birmingham City Centre. Mostly pedestrianised outside so no noisy traffic. The room was very basic, no frills, but everything was perfect. Comfortable bed, good wifi, hot shower and everything was clean! Breakfast was nice too with plenty of choice. The best part was just how friendly and helpful the staff was. And the free cookies by reception were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
