Birmingham isn't just about culture. Say 'hey' to your inner child at Teamworks Karting Birmingham. Or, better yet, let it loose as you ride the rides, chow down on snacks, and play games for prizes. Villa Park is a mecca for kids and adults (and inner children) alike. Catch a game or concert while hanging out in those stadium seats.

Drama unfolds on the silver screens at Electric Cinema and Odeon Cinema Birmingham. Spend an afternoon with some action heroes, hopeless romantics or cartoon characters — as well as some candy and soda — as you kick back in the dark theater.

Traveling can leave you tense. Luckily, the trained professionals at At One Day Spa and Edgbaston Dental Centre are there to work out all that stress, leaving you at ease.

Not everyone in Birmingham calls it a night after sundown. Party with the night owls at O2 Academy Birmingham, The Old Joint Stock and The Trocadero.

Novotel Birmingham Centre

Excellent business hotel

Nice recent refurbishment, responsive staff, quiet room, all I could have asked for except...I paid for the broadband "special" to be able to use in-room internet and have unlimited movies, but the the movies never worked, and the staff were helpless in trying to address the problem during my entire stay. Really surprised that the hotel would be unable to come up with a fix but I must say the staff were very apologetic.

ibis Styles Birmingham Centre

Friendly staff

The hotel was great value for money not least because a continental breakfast was included in the room rate. I appreciated the fact that coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks plus apple and orange juice was available free of charge twenty four hours a day. The room and bed were very comfortable but for me the highlight were the interactions with the friendly staff on reception.

Copthorne Hotel Birmingham

Great option close to the ICC

I was attending a conference at the ICC and found the Copthorne a great value. I opted for a superior room that came with breakfast and free internet. Very comfortable room, lovely staff, and clean, updated hotel. My room was a bit noisy with the traffic noise, but with the windows closed not too bad. One caution: no air conditioning, so would avoid in the summer.

-Great location (at BHI train station x BHX airport) -lovely, clean, very quiet rooms -windows (balcomy doors) you can OPEN for real fresh air (LOVE That!) -free shuttle <--> BHX (though you don't need it unless luggage is a hassle) == Such a great location (Birmingham is a great city, even for a short visit!) and such a nice convenient hotel that I actually look forward to having to stay overnight there before my next 6am departure flight from BHX.
