Novotel Birmingham Centre

Excellent business hotel

Nice recent refurbishment, responsive staff, quiet room, all I could have asked for except...I paid for the broadband "special" to be able to use in-room internet and have unlimited movies, but the the movies never worked, and the staff were helpless in trying to address the problem during my entire stay. Really surprised that the hotel would be unable to come up with a fix but I must say the staff were very apologetic.

ibis Styles Birmingham Centre

Friendly staff

The hotel was great value for money not least because a continental breakfast was included in the room rate. I appreciated the fact that coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks plus apple and orange juice was available free of charge twenty four hours a day. The room and bed were very comfortable but for me the highlight were the interactions with the friendly staff on reception.

The rooms look NOTHING like the photos on their site. Will never book again. Customer service was horrible as well and staff looked miserable. Check in took over a half hour as only one li
