Stayed here for an event at NIA - quick check in & out, nice room & very comfy bed. Loved the toiletries (best shampoo you’ll ever steal, better shower gel than you have at home). Although we had cocktails upstairs we didn’t use any of the facilities due to time. Great location to the train station. Would definitely stay again.

Recently visited here for my birthday and had the processco afternoon tea. Staff were so friendly and welcoming always checking if we needed anything else or if everything was ok. Cakes and sandwiches were lovely and seems good value for money :)

Stayed Saturday for 1 night. Very nice room. 1 small niggle the bath is VERY high when you step out from shower - gives false sense of height from floor. We spent the evening in Birmingham and returned to the hotels cocktail bar. Very lively with a great atmosphere we stayed till 2am!! Good nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Went for breakfast - not so gd. Had to wait 10 minutes in queue for table - we saw lots of tables that hadn’t been cleared from previous guests not a good impression at the front of restaurant. The breakfast was good. On the whole a nice hotel although probably a little over priced.

Stayed here on a Sunday night after an event at the Barclay card arena. Very large double room, very large very comfortable kingsize bed coffee maker in the room and teas and hot chocolate. Very stylish Bar open late for residents and the cocktails were amazing. The breakfast was very good both buffet continental and cooked to order options with lots of toast, tea and coffee brought to the table. The service was excellent throughout our stay, check in was very efficient and the receptionist very friendly and helpful. Asked for an extra bath towel which arrived within minutes. Bar service and breakfast service also excellent.

I stayed with my friend on a spa break. The hotel itself was lovely but we got there early but room was not ready as check in is 3pm. We left our cases and as were booked in for lunch headed there. We were booked in slightly later but Jas squeezed us in earlier that booked. Lunch was lovely and this followed by our treatments. My massage was lovely. Our room was clean and spacious. Shame the twin beds were only singles as most other places they are bigger!! Another thing is there was no moisturising cream in the complimentary toiletries which was a shame. Fab place, pretty central for what we needed, bar is lovely and had a good nights sleep.

We stayed in a standard double room......the room was huge and the bathroom even bigger, would suggest room enough for a walk in shower, not to fond of showers over baths....for the cost of the room I would at least expect some water....£175 is a lot of money for a night to not get any or even a turn down service. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have stayed in recently..... Only real moan was the noise from the bar at 11pm.....probably the loudest music I have heard in a hotel.....we were on the forth floor and still heard it......

We stayed here after an event at the NIA and the location was ideal. Located a short walk down the canal to the NIA it was ideal. We received an upgrade to a junior suite which was wonderful really spacious with a large living space and queen sized bedroom. The bathroom was lush with a free standing bath and also a rainfall style shower. Would definitely stay here again as the location is ideal and parking is secure below the mailbox.

A modern hotel with spacious rooms. Within walking distance of bullring, The mailbox is a great place for a variety of Restaurants. Very comfortable rooms but need to get the heating sorted. I was at a business party and their work playrooms are ideal for a small business. Breakfast was acceptable

Had a long weekend at Malmaison Birmingham celebrating another birthday and we were suitably impressed with everything about the hotel. The bedroom was well equipped, the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. It is within walking distance of the railway station and very accessible for shopping and visiting local attractions. We will defiantly return for another visit and highly recommend this hotel.

We were bought a night in this hotel for a treat by our children. The room was very large but also very cold as the heater didn't work. We went to the restaurant and waited 2 hours for our food. We were told there was a function going on but they should have got more staff in to cover instead of giving bad service in the restaurant. When the food did arrive it was pretty poor. We were not the only ones complaining. Most people check out at 10.00 so was very surprised to find staff do change over meetings at this time. There was one person on reception and 9 people waiting to check out. Really bad management!!
