This hotel is very convenient for the airport; it's two minutes walk away. It's easily accessible from the rail station by using the free 'monorail' to the airport and walking around the corner to the hotel. The check in was quick and courteous. The room was very clean. It was rather 'compact' but perfectly functional. As usual with cheap hotels, there was nowhere to sit except the bed and a plastic stool. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The shower was good. There was a little noise from outside but not as much as we expected. The breakfast (a buffet) was good. The huge downside is parking. If you're parking in the multi-storey opposite the hotel, you'll need to remortgage your house! (It was £4.50 for the short time we parked to unload and would cost you over £40 for a day.). we were advised to park at the railway station and catch the 'monorail' back. We did so. We parked on Sunday evening just after 6pm and left on Monday morning just after 10am and incurred two days' charges totalling £21.

I booked this hotel for a one night stay with a friend for a gig. We expected to share a double bed because that’s the only room they had left, but didn’t expect the shower to open up into the room so very little privacy! Tea and coffee facilities were on the first floor. Hairdryer provided. Towels provided. Shuttle tram between the airport and the NEC/train station free of charge and comes every few minutes. Little opportunity to purchase things at a decent price so pack what you can for your stay. Example: cigarettes £4 more expensive, alcohol extortionate! Atmosphere in bar area of an evening was good, staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here as a group visiting an exhibition at the NEC. This was our second time here. It is in a very good location close to the airport, shuttles, train station and NEC. The rooms are small and when sharing with a work colleague the shower in the bedroom makes it a little awkward. Good job we both have bad eyesight! Saying that the shower is very good and clean. This time we had a double with overhead bunk which I did not like. Made the room appear smaller and felt claustrophobic. The bar area is nice for a drink. This budget hotel is better than I had expected and cannot fault anything on my stay in terms of cleanliness or service.

Spent one night before flying out hotel is in excellent position for airport and only minutes to next where you can eat and drink staff really good and good breakfast in morning will definately stay again

Great for an early morning flight. Easy check in leaving, clean tidy and quiet. Good price with their app. Will use again. Powerful shower, TV,but no coffee, but that was reflected i the price. Nice staff too.

An ideal airport hotel, if you are flying out early morning. From our room we could see the airplanes taking off, but heard very little noise. Good room, clean and tidy, easy check in and check out.Recommended

Useful hotel. Just in the airport, not close to it, just in there. Quite useful when you need a decent hotel if you arrive late or you need to flight early. It is around 20 minutes by train to Birmingham citiy centre. The facilities are also intereseting.

Great stay with really kind and helpful staff with big smiles always there for you! Would totally recommend and stay here again! I loved the tea and coffee room on the 1st floor very nice touch compared to other hotels

from our the 7th floor room!!!! I’d recently tried the Ibis, & decided to try the Ibis Budget. The Ibis Budget was fine & had everything that we needed. Bed & pillows comfy, shower to die for!!!! Free toiletries, fluffy rabbit towels. No tea & coffee in the room, but you can help yourself on the 1st floor. All staff were lovely which makes for a great stay. I must repeat that this hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the airport, we tried both ways to test.

Very straight forward and good hotel for a nights stay before an early morning flight. Just a very short walk to the terminal. Will definitely use again in similar circumstances. Used the restaurant, which was good and the staff were very helpful.
