I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel from 19 to 21 September and had an appalling experience despite the hotel’s decent location and appearance.
I extended my stay specifically to relax after a concert and a few hectic weeks, but instead endured abysmal customer service. On Saturday, I spent most of the day calling room service, at least 7 times, and only once did anyone answer. Reception promised a callback, but none ever came. Paying premium rates to waste my day chasing staff completely ruined my stay.
I complained in person and was told I could call reception directly, yet once again no one answered. When I finally managed to order food around 5pm, I was given a glass bottle without an opener. Later, I left my tray outside as instructed and it remained there until the following day. A staff member even visited my room at 9pm, saw the tray, and ignored it. This disregard for cleanliness and hospitality is unacceptable.
Instead of resting, I left stressed, frustrated, and regretting ever booking here,. The service fell far below expectations, and I would never recommend this hotel
