Brilliantly placed near the canal basin where there are lots of amenities available. The room was spacious and clean with great views across the city and to be honest, I had the best nights sleep I have ever had away from home. Staff very professional. I would stay here again if I am travelling up to Birmingham.
Hotel was really nice, good quality. But unsatisfied with parking. Had to park further away and walk to hotel. Polite staff and really helpful when needed. For how much you pay to stay at this hotel you would think they would cater for all needs of stay
My spa treatment was great both me and hubby did enjoyed. The leisure facilities is a plus. Really fun. My hubby did enjoy his birthday to the max. definitely coming again. I love it in the hyatt. Restaurant staff was very on point, service was great.
An excellent hotel in a perfect location. A maximum ten minute walk from new street train station. From arrival to departure hotel staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. Check in and check out quick and efficient. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Noticeably little noise from corridor during the night unlike previous hotels which results in broken sleep. Food was beautiful and good selection available. Will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
Great view from King room on 15th floor overlooking the canal. Large rooms with large bathroom; although the bath was quite small and shower head fixed which was too low for my husbands who is 5'11, water pressure quire low for people with 'Hair' like me!. All staff encountered were very polite and communal areas very clean and modern. Best thing about hotels was the great location. Good for Symphony Hall/Barclaycard arena; loads of pubs/restaurants nearby.
We stay at the Hyatt when we visit Birmingham...... it's one of our favourites.... on this occasion we opted for a canal side view as opposed to a city view room. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean - the view was ok from the 9th floor but as we returned from our night out - we could hear music coming from the clubs on Broad St ... so I won't be opting for a room on that elevation again. Breakfast was once again amazing.... a huge selection.... but get down early as it gets very busy.
Popped into the gentleman and scholar with some friends for a drink , now we expected it to be overpriced so thats fine but when you ask for a simple drink like a Heineken top and first get a beer with a massive head , then a beer with a slice of lime in it then a beer with lemon juice in to finally get what you asked for ! This is quite laughable . You charge £6 a pint so get the staff trained to a standard that matches your prices .... A disappointing experience .
Great Location for ICC Conference Centre and restaurants. Lovely room. Floor 6+ needed for a view above hotel restaurant roof Bar and Restaurant nice but expensive. Swimming Pool and sauna very nice, changing rooms cramped but being renovated.
Very professional, what you would expect from a great brand, with prices that are not as high as you would think. Brilliantly looked after. Very generous rooms and a breakfast that is fantastic. For a big hotel in a busy area the atmosphere is very calming and serene as soon as you walk into the lobby.
Very pleasant stay. Good sized room & bathroom, clean, nice view over the canal. Would stay again. Only downside was the prices of snacks in the room. £3 for a small packet of crisps, £2.50 for a still water, but I cannot fault the actual hotel. Friendly, helpful staff.
