We booked the hotel for one night the Saturday before Father’s Day. We drove in from Austin, Texas and arrived in the evening. The hotel was very busy, it seemed as though the hotel was overbooked? There were too many people in the pool as the water was literally brown. The hot tub was in the same condition. The room was dated, the couch was stained on both sides of the seat cushions. Our eldest son accompanied us and he slept on the fold out couch. It took the staff three hours to deliver linens. My husband ran into house keeping in the elevator and confirmed the room number. So technically my husband delivered the linens. In addition to that the carpet was dirty and the ceilings were outdated. The windows were stained with old condensation patterns with new ones that day. The elevator malfunctioned so, there was one elevator for the entire hotel. It was repaired overnight by the morning both elevators were functional. The only saving quality of the hotel was the front desk staff and the bar/restaurant area. I love the holiday inn franchise. This hotel can use renovations and upgrades. For 300 plus a night this hotel should have been in better condition. This was in addition to our 100 plus dinner cost. Overall the staff did a good job considering they might have been overbooked for the amount of staff they had duty.

I killed a roach in the bathroom in my guest room. The room we had had lots of drywall damage with obvious repair of poor quality and it was visually displeasing. The room was damp and a bit cold. AC in the hallway was about 62 degrees. The kids did not want to swim because the pool was the size of our room. I definitely expected better.

Everything was great from the staff to amenities to the quiet stay. I will definitely stay there again next time i am in the area.

hotel was very clean, great service, great pools, great location

Our stay was great and the staff was excellent we recommend it to everyone.

No toiletries in room when we checked in; carpet felt like it had been years since thorough cleaning. TV was on and blaring & room smelled dramatically of men’s cologne. Thought somebody else was in room, but there was no luggage & nobody ever showed up.

Only stayed a couple nights but it was a very good stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. When I checked in, they have me tips on things to do while we were there. No complaints at all. One of the pool doors wouldn't read a room key. We told the lady who was replenishing the pool towels just as an FYI. She had someone there to fix it before we even left the pool area.

Nice hotel. Staff at front desk did not inform us of where to get luggage carts nor community coffee area. Pretty lobby & bar.

Air conditioner sounded like an air compressor you had to yell in order to talk to someone. Luckily it wasn't too warm so I didn't have to keep it running all night. At 1:30 am I felt someone crawling on my face. I swiped my face flipped on the light to see a cockroach on the bed. I immediately dialed the front desk. after 10 minutes and a second phone call to the corporate hotline I was able to get through to front desk. The gentleman apologized and stated he had several late arrivals checking in but to come to the front desk to get a room change. I get down there and it takes another 15 minutes. He said he was waiting for their computer program to warm up. Weird because he just told me he was checking late arrivals in. I asked for a refund of my money he stated that he couldn't give me a refund but would happily give me a free breakfast voucher. For obvious reasons I declined the offer.

Great staff. I had a great check in experience. It just seems like alot of things are broken. The shower head in the bathroom was falling apart and when I went to workout only one machine in the workout room worked?

Overall we had an excellent stay! Our allergies started acting up because of the carpet all over the hotel. The room was clean and the hotel staff seem to be always cleaning. It's not in the best neighborhood but it's a 10 minute drive to the beach and we never felt uncomfortable leaving the hotel.

Smelled in hallways, dirty carpets, cracked/peeling paint, no wash clothes, no hand towels, no hot water. For the high price, wouldn't recommend. Breakfast and hotel staff were good.

The hotel restroom had some kinda stain on the restroom as if it wasnt properly cleaned so did the curtains. The pool is super small looks bigger in the pictures .Once you go to the pool you can see how dirty the pool is ...their is dirt residue all along the edge where the water tops off in the pool. Dont recommend especially if you are staying with your family .The lobby looks nice ...thats about it

Very nice stay. Nice pool and spa. Not very close to restaurants.

We honestly expected more out of this hotel. I will say they were renovating while there, but I'm sure it will look better next time we visit. We were placed in room 201. We made reservations for a queen sized bed but gave us what appeared to be a full. The room wasn't as comfortable as we expected. There was a lot of unused space. There was no closet. Please don't stay in room 201. Other than that it was ok.

The hotel was a good value for money. A short drive to the beach.

Toilet didn't flush right found two small roaches I killed them elevator door opened halfway and stayed like that till I called my husband to help me out of it. Worse hotel!

Beautiful lobby.. Very friendly staff.. Close to downtown.. Nice rooms.. I would definitely stay here again...

The WiFi was not working on my floor. Reported the problem several times but it was not remedied. Also, the cleaning service did not come until 5pm on the second day of our stay. Overall, this hotel was not worth the $150/day price tag I paid.

No clean towels . Ice machines not working . Only 1 washer and 1 dryer . No pool towels . No free breakfast for a $179.99 night
