Cozy mountain getaway
It was very nice for the price!! Slight issue with the check-in process as there was no key in our lockbox and no one in the office. However after we called the customer service line they were able to help us pretty quickly by calling the regional manager. It was very clean inside and had great amenities. The amazing views and the fireplace were the best part.

Nice One Bedroom In The Heart Of Copper Village
Very nice, spacious one bedroom that's a short, 5 minute walk to the ski lifts. It's in an older building that apparently has employee housing units in it, but there were no problems with late night noise, etc...Though the listing says it'll accommodate seven (a murphy bed and a sofa bed in the living room in addition to the master bedroom) I wouldn't recommend any more than a couple or a family with a couple of small kids book this unit. The toilet and shower are separate from the bathroom sink/washer unit, and it's very cramped. The kitchen was fine and well appointed, though oddly there were absolutely no cooking supplies such as oil, spices, foil, plastic wrap, etc... Every vacation rental I've ever stayed in has had at least some pantry items. Additionally, other basic supplies throughout the unit were the bare minimum - one tiny bar of soap, and tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles. There was only one 1/2 used roll of t.p., and no extra trash bags. It's like the unit was stripped of any extra supplies. There were barely enough for one person. There was a problem with the HVAC system, and they were very responsive to get the issue handled. Overall, communication was excellent.Personal gripe: the pillows were about the cheapest they could buy. I don't understand the thinking - the additional cost per night for quality pillows over the useful life of the pillow is negligible. Amenities and supplies are unnecessarily and short-sightedly cheap.

Unit 551 Village Square
Heat does not work! Relying on fireplace put propane/natural gas fumes in condo, giving me a headache and stuffing my nose. Heat in bedroom had to be set at 80 degrees to achieve 65 degrees overnight and that was a challenge for the system. Water bottle left on mantal from cleaning or previous user. PM did not do anything about it!!No extra blankets, no Kleenex, No mattress pad. I could see through the sheets from wear and tear. NO lock for ski locker or directions on where to find my locker. No directions to use fireplace, No directions to use washer/dryer. No complementary coffee. Closets in BR where unusable because of stuff stored in them. TV did not work when I arrived. Had to call PM several times about heat, blankets, kleenex, sheets, etc. NO Support other than to turn up thermostat in bedroom. I had a great stay because of skiing, NOT because of stay in condo. Place looked and felt like a very worn out and not well kept condo. Will not stay in that condo again, and certainly tell people to avoid the unit.

Nice unit and location but be aware...
We had many issues mainly with property Vacasa on this trip. Keys were not in the lockbox on arrival and it took several calls and texts before we could reach anyone to help. The main help number was not local and they kept sending me a copy/paste of the check-in instructions which was very frustrating. I knew very well where the keys were supposed to be but they were not there. Finally, we reached a somewhat local person who directed us where we could find more keys in a different location. The contract included 2 parking spots. It took an entire day to resolve the missing 2nd vehicle parking pass. Vacasa support line didn't believe me and made me prove we had 2 parking spots in our contract. The condo was clean and in a great location but not as described. Listing stated it included a clothes washer and fireplace. Neither of these worked and Vacasa notified us of the fireplace shortly before arrival and after the cancellation deadline. None of the 3 humidifiers in the unit worked. There were ski lockers but we apparently couldn't use them because no keys were provided. There are too many comparable options at Copper Mountain with working amenities, honest descriptions, clearer instructions, and better managers for me to recommend this unit.

I liked the condo. It was in a nice part of Copper, near a lot of restaurants/stores/mountain. The space was comfortable for 2, 4 could be crowded. But if you're out doing things all day, won't be an issue.
The condo seemed to be older, not that it's an issue. But, it does feel lived in. Some of the cabinet doors feel loose, the oven door/handle was loose (nothing that a screwdriver couldn't fix) and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall (easy fix, if you know how).
In my mind, in the summer... the biggest issue is a lack of way to cool down the condo. With the skylights in the living space, it gets quite warm during the day There is no air conditioning, and all the windows are on the same side of the building (no air flow). There are no window fans to pull in cool air for outside either. There are some room fans, but it's just to push around the air already in the condo.
With that said: Would I stay there again, yes. Would I stay in summer? If the cooling is fixed.

Worst 'vacation' ever.
Day 1:
a) Arriving we find signs at the lobby elevator warning guests of intermittent operation. Call x number and someone will try to respond within 10 minutes. Isn't this a safety hazard and building code violation?
b) The building hot tub was out of operation. Door locked.
c) No ski lockers available. There appear to be 100 lockers with permanent locks for residents. None available for our gear.
d) Room was advertised as having washer dryer in-unit. It was there, but not working.
Day 2:
a) calls to management about hot tub operation made. Hot tub started working on day 3
b) raised issue about in-unit washer/dryer not working. Was told by VACASA they fixed the issue by removing it from the feature listing for future renters. DOES NOT resolve my issue because I rented this property specifically for this feature. Fraud. Was told to use guest laundry on 3rd floor. It's actually on 1st floor.
Day 3:
a) elevators are taken out of service by the local fire department... guess why? It IS a building safety violation.
b) get to hike up and down 5 flights of stairs to do laundry, get ski gear in/out, and bring in a few groceries.
I called the management company, VACASA several times. NEVER got a call back... just auto-text replies. No one would give me the phone number of local rep. No one EVER in the office.
If I ever rent from VRBO again and get VACASA messages after the fact I am cancelling my reservation.
No exceptions. Never again.

It’s ok
This unit is in center village and only requires a 5 minute walk to the lifts, so the location is great. However, the listing says that they have a washer dryer and a ski locker available and that is not accurate because the washer and dryer does not work and we were denied the combo for the ski locker. We attempted to contact Vacasa and VRBO multiple times about the issues and they said that we did not have a ski locker as advertised. Both Vacasa and VRBO refused to discuss the washer/dryer being broken. That was the main reason we chose that condo to begin with. Also the walls are very very thin. We could easily hear people through the walls which wasn’t ideal. I will say that the check in process was super easy and quick. I would stay here again if nothing else was available simply because of the location, but this condo is nothing to write home about.

Needs some love
Pros: Location is great and the unit is bigger than most 1-bedroom units in Copper Center village. Gas fireplace made for warm, cozy evenings.
Cons: furniture seating needs professional cleaning/replacing. Other Pieces really banged up, missing handles, scratched, old. Kitchenware very sparse and not in great shape (not enough pans, peeling pans/, blunt knifes); heating panels falling off wall;. It really just needs some care and attention. 2nd parking spot is a free bus ride away.
When we got there there was no TP and host took over 24 hrs to bring us some! Also, they don’t provide coffee filters for the drip machine so make sure to bring some with you!

Beautiful views
Overall the location was great, the property condition was Ok, that being said, the closets and cabinets were so full of stuff that it was hard not only to put a suitcase in the closet but groceries in the cabinets. The cleaning was poor compared to a hotel. and the blinds that were over the greenhouse windows were either torn or bound up and not functional. There was still a Christmas tree in the living room, and most of the furniture is several years beyond needed replacement , as are a couple of area rugs. Memorial weekend Copper Mtn, was dead, we had to travel to Breckenridge for restaurants.

Amazing house but could be just that much better
The skylight blinds being broken and the dishwasher full wasnt the best but seriously the home is so nice and we'll equipped thats all easy to look past. It's a beautiful condo with great views and a huge, repeat huge, bedroom for a mountain condo. I'll absolutely be looking for this listing in the future. Murphy bed could be more comfy though as well with a few more blankets.

Family ski trip
Great location. Condo was clean, but could use a few updates. Needs additional and/or replace some of the pots and pans. Need spatula as well. Coffee pot is super small, think hotel coffee pot.
Requested additional towels, pillows and a humidifier to replace the broke one. Took 2 days to get the towels and never got the humidifier.
There is no pull out twin in master bedroom, there was a piece of foam under the bed, I guess that was suppose to accommodate the 7th person this condo advertises for? Also the pull out coach mattress was horrible, my son had to sleep on coach without pulling it out into bed.
We did have a nice week, but unfortunately this condo would not be at the top of the list if we return.

Great location but needs some updating
Overall, great space & room for all. Needs updates in many areas: Kitchen: only 3 mugs, 1 pan and 1 pot for a kitchen is not enough & dishwasher needs to be upgraded...did not clean dishes at all so we hand washed; fireplace pilot was out but mgmt fixed quickly; broken window shades should be fixed or removed; can't park in garage with any size roof rack; please update uncomfortable pullout sofa and give a double sheet to fit sofa mattress....not a twin sheet.

Great deal, good space
The place overall was great! Its not super fancy or new but had more than everything we needed. Clean inside the room, and tons of space! Big family room and dining table, big room and bathroom was a little tight but ok. Views are amazing and all the sunlight was perfect! A little difficult finding the room and parking garage especially at night. But once we found it, no problems! The listing says its in east village but was actually in the west village location that was our main problem. Overall, great stay!

Great Summer Vacation
The condo was very nice and clean. The bedroom was nice, with lots of closet space.
The Murphy bed was easy to use and comfortable.
The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and the children enjoyed the fact that there were not only board games but video games, as well as DVDs.
They have a 'washer/dryer' combo which was convenient but we ended up using the laundry room downstairs because even though the washer worked well, the drying part took almost 3 hours per load, which is probably just the way those 'combo' machines work. It wasn't a major problem but we were in a bit of a hurry.
We had issues with the thermostat, which didn't seem to work, so the condo's temperature was too warm at times. I'm glad they had fans, so we put them to use and resolved the issue.
Overall a wonderful place to stay, really close to all the activities and restaurants and we'll definitely return!

Great extended stay during the Summer
Being able to work from home due to COVID, I had the opportunity to spend over 2 weeks at this property this June, where it fit exactly what I was looking for. It was affordable enough that an extended stay didn't bust the bank, the internet was good for video calls, the room setup was great for occasional family visits over the weekend, and the washer / dryer and kitchen were handy.
I definitely recommend Copper Mountain for a summer destination, the Gore-Mosquito mountains are wetter and more jagged than the Front Range off I 70. There is so much hiking right out of the ski area and up Freemont Pass or over to Vail Pass. It gets busy from the 4th of July to middle of August, but June and late August - September are the best times to visit.

Great Location but with some flaws...
This property was spacious and in a GREAT location but it also had a few flaws that took away from the experience. There was no Kleenex in the entire condo, we went to the managment office to get some and we were told that there was no tissue and they could give us an extra toilet paper roll to wipe our noses. This floored me. Also the pull out coach had an issue with the bottom right corner were it it attached to the frame. Instead of fixing the issue the broken part was fixed with zip-ties that were broken when we attempted to use the pull out for one of our kids. All the remotes had dead batteries. We had to change out the batteries from 4 different remotes just to turn off the TV. We didn't bother to ask the property management after the tissue ordeal. Finally, behind the master bed was a entire colony of dust bunnies and other gross looking things that seems to have been sitting there for quite some time.
All of these issues are minor and would not prevent me from staying at this condo another time. It just seems that the issues we had would be simple fixes (maybe not the pull out coach) and could be addressed before people spend their hard earned money for a mediocre stay. It seems to me that the owner of the condo and the property managment need to get on the same page and have the items needed for guest to enjoy ALL the amenities offered in the condo or have a way to fix the issues missing or broken within the condo.
All in all, the place was perfect for a family of 4 and the location was great! Customer service with the property managment could use an adjustment and if the bed issue was fixed on the pull out the experience would have been better.

Perfect location
The condo met all of our needs. The location is fantastic with easy access to American Eagle and American Flyer lifts. Both lifts are only a couple of minutes away and the walk is easy, even in ski boots. Also, the storage lockers on the 1st floor are conveniently located. The location is perfect for skiing.
We found the condo to be bigger than we anticipated and easily accommodated our family of three. The beds are comfortable and the condo is well stocked with all the expected kitchen supplies. It’s a good place and we would stay there again.
Only two issues: the card keys work about 3/4 of the time but that seemed to be an issue related to the card key readers. Also, the washer dryer is overly complicated to operate. It works fine but it took a while to figure out. Neither the card key problems or the washer dryer issues were anything close to major. It’s a good condo and we are glad that we stayed there.
