Great location, service and comfort. Uniquely cozy.

Fantastic stay, great hotel and location, very clean

Overall a very nice hotel in a nice location. Breakfast included, which is great, and coffee in the lobby.

Great location and a lovely view in the center of downtown. Awesome, friendly staff.

The Dunhill in Charlotte is a wonderful elegant old hotel with that same charm of 19th C European hotels. This was our third stay there. The location couldn't be more convenient, right on Tryon and 6th in the 4th Ward. The rooms are furnished with antiques or reproductions in very good taste. The upper and lower lobbies are welcoming and comfortable, and the bartender really knows how to make a good cocktail. The staff is professional and friendly. We already knew the rooms and the closets were smallish, but this time our closet was really tiny. Luckily we were only spending one night and didn't feel the need to unpack. There is a restaurant, but we didn't have a chance to try it. The Dunhill will continue to be our go-to hotel in Charlotte.

When I check in they put a 50 dollars hold on my card then I had to pay another 23 dollars for parking.

This hotel had been a favorite of mine in the past, however, it is in need of a face lift. The carpets are dingy, worn, and dirty looking. The beds are old, hard, and uncomfortable. The room furniture in our deluxe double was nicked and scratched. A cheap-looking curtain served as a door for the closet in our room. in addition, we had to wait forever (over 15 minutes to valet part our car. This certainly is not a 4 star hotel anymore. I would say 3 stars at the best.

Great location, boutique style lobby and rooms, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was late to be set up in the early am, but otherwise a great stay.

We had a fabulous stay. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant was even better. The location couldn't have been better and our bags were held without any eye rolls. I will definitely be staying there the next time I am in Charlotte.

The staff at the Dunhill Hotel has spoiled me for going anywhere else. It is my first (and only) choice whenever I am in Charlotte, NC. It has charm, comfort and convenience backed by an attentive staff. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I stay at this hotel every time I go to Charlotte, love the service, location, boutique style.

Hotel is located in the heart of downtown close to all the happenings. Quaint old hotel with updated rooms. Not the quietest place to stay but it was fine for the night we were there. It's treated like a small fancy hotel, the complementary breakfast was awesome and so was the staff.

Wonderful hotel with great staff. Would Definitely stay here again. Very close to great restaraunts and bars.

The staff was friendly and wonderful. Had a great night. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I didn't use the WiFi internet and cannot assess its effectiveness. The hotel is in a perfect Uptown location which is close to everything. Parking is free on the weekends and after 6. We had no problem finding street space. Bartender in the lobby bar (Pete) was fun and friendly. All staff were very professional. The city view from our room (707) was spectacular. No regrets about this hotel. The overall experience and location make this hotel a value for the price.

Location is perfect if touring downtown Charlotte! Staff is fabulous!!!

This was our first time in Charlotte. We enjoyed the hotel very much. I would definitely stay here again. I was a little surprised that I did not have an ice bucket though. I had to get room service bring it up.

Location was great for doing things in Uptown Charlotte. Staff is delightfully courteous and helpful. One A/C vent in the room meant I could see this getting very warm in the summer, but wasn't an issue for my springtime stay. Would stay again.

It was a great experience staying at the Dunhill Hotel. The hotel was perfectly located in the middle of everything and upon checkin, we were delighted to find ourselves in a large room at the end of the hall. Although facing the street and on the second floor, there was minimal noise. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom large and spotless. The swirl pool was great too! We also had a quick dinner at the restaurant and very much enjoyed the food. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.
