The amount of plastic used in the breakfast room is appalling! Given the environmental challenges it is unacceptable for a hotel chain to produce so much waste every day. ACs were set to very cold levels, again showing a complete ignorance to the climate crisis. On the other hand the staff was very friendly, the service was good and the rooms were clean. Only complaint goes to holiday express management to have no environmental conscious.
The hotel was nice. However, we lost a parking ticket to their next store parking facility and it became a big hassel. The parking kiosk did not give us an option to pay in full for a lost ticket. The hotel then gave us a scan code but the scanner on the kiosk was not working. Eventually., we needed a maintenance man to get us out. The kiosk meeds to be fixed.
Pricing at the front desk was way off from my itinerary and other people as well its like they are bate and switch.
A great find for staying in Charleston. Price was decent and the hotel was just a short drive away from everything the city has to offer. There was also free breakfast everyday and it was always a full buffet, which was a huge win for my boyfriend and I.
Super nice staff. Wife and I were really suprised at how good and clean the breakfast buffet was (Real bacon and Sausages). Super convenient, Uber $8 historic district, $22 folly beach, $21 CHS airport and all rides less than 5min wait. We stayed 5 days just to explore area. Will definitely stay again

Toilet tank won’t refill unless I remove the cover and jiggle the valve. Water leaks out from shower. After informing front desk the next morning, no one showed up to remedy the issues. In addition, no one came to clean the room. Worst experience for a property that charged almost $300/per night.
Extremely warm/friendly and helpful front desk staff and housekeeping. Unfortunately, for some reason the hotel insisted on charging us more than the amount stated in our booking reference from Expedia. Only a little more, but it was confusing as to why the rate was higher.
Room was bigger than I expected and very clean. The desk staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again next year.
