We had a one night stay as a group of four with two people sharing. Upon discovering that one of the rooms was not ready yet, the team quickly found us another room and we checked in in less than 5 minutes. Check out was super is too. The room was spacious and very neat. Easy access to cabs was also another highlight.

This place was absolutely brilliant. The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and easy. From early check in to late check out, they had everything covered. The dog was fussed over appropriately and I don't think they charged us for him which was amazing. The room was clean, comfy and in a good location. The room was quiet with good air conditioning and a good bed. Negative points were the poorly equipped gym and the shower, which is hard to turn on as it's old and broken. But the accommodating staff more than make up for this. We've booked again. Thanks a lot for making life on the road so much easier!

We have just returned from our stay here, having visited for the University of Birmingham open day. The location is fantastic - within easy reach of the uni and the city centre. Secure car parking was a real bonus, even better that it was free! We got a great deal on dinner, bed & breakfast and were really happy with the food. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, especially the waitresses in the restaurant, who had to deal with a particularly obnoxious and aggressive customer and did so in a consummately professional manner - well done ladies!! The hotel also has a small gym which we made use of - great facilities for the price - I would definitely come back again.

Arrived from Canada. Bal F, greeted me. My luggage had been lost, Bal was so kind. Got me sorted and. Ensured I had everything I needed. Entire staff were amazing! Wonderful hotel! Thanks for the memories! Cindy from Ontario, Canada!

We booked the murder myster but had childcare issues so we had to bring the children i phoned the hotel prior to our stay and they upgraded our room to a family roon which was great it was clean and spacious and our bed was comfortable. The kids had the pull out sofa bed. Obviously we couldnt go to the murder mystery as we had the kids but they did offer us the meal but we decided to go out to eat. The breakfast was nice too full english and they had fresh fruit, pastrys, yogart and cereals. Overall it is a nice hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay , thank you :)

Do not book this hotel. They cancel without notice, without trying to contact you and then when you ask to speak to the manager he smirks in your face and tells you it's not his problem. Worst service and worst management I have ever dealt with.

Stayed here last night for work. It's a pretty good hotel and I would have easily given 4 if a few changes were present. Many positives including easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff and the food was great. But, it clearly suggests you need to pay to park but it's actually free (you'll notice this after paying and arriving in reception). And, as I paid by phone I couldn't be refunded. The room was okay but very small. It's very hot and there's no air con, the window hardly opens and there's no fan so getting to sleep was tough. I'd probably stay there again, but may not if others are good value

Four of us stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago whilst we were in Birmingham to watch cricket. It's a lovely hotel with free car parking. Upon arrival we were upgraded to better rooms and were also given late check out facility. The upgrade also included a free alcoholic or soft drink per person, which was a really nice touch. It's a nice and clean hotel, the staff were very polite and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was also very good with plenty of choice. I noticed that some guests made request for items that were not in the buffe, which were catered for them. They have a nice coffe machine which you can use to have cappuccino or latte, you could go up to this machine as many times as you wanted as it's on a self service basis. All in all a very nice stay and I would happily go back to this property.

We had booked this hotel after searching for somewhere to stay for 2 nights whilst visiting the NEC. We didn't want to stay out in the middle of too close and didn't want to be right in the middle of Birmingham. The hotel offered us a a good deal for the 2 nights £111.00 this was for a small basic room, but it was clean and well maintained. Yes the room was very small but at the end of the day it was only a place to sleep. Our room had tea/coffee making facilities etc.. When we arrived we were greeted by a member of staff who was very helpful. We booked our breakfast at the desk too. £8.00 per person (self service with plenty to choose from full fry up or cereal, yoghurt, fruit, toast etc....) The parking was great too, you could leave your car in the car park beside the hotel or in the secure parking within the hotel. Parking was free all you had to do was register your car at the check in desk. The hotel is situated near to plenty of pubs and places to eat just a short wander.( TGI Fridays, Beefeater, Aagrah indian, a wonderful Argentinian resteraunt just 2 doors away - well worth a visit) All the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. Would recommend a stay.

One night stay with the Groupon murder mystery package. Room was small but absolutely fine for single traveller. Clean and well furnished, quiet and had a nice view. A couple may need to upgrade for more space. The iron was a nice touch but both iron and ironing board were cheap, so the results weren't great. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Murder mystery was great fun. Well acted and organised and the accompanying dinner was tasty. This hotel, in posh and leafy Edgbaston, is rather far from the city centre, so will suit business travellers best or those with a car. Otherwise, you will need to negotiate public transport.
