Well what can I stay.I stopped here on business as my normal hotel was full.service was great and very quick.check in was very fast and was made to feel very welcome. The only thing I would say is that the bar is very expensive
We visited the spa at this hotel as part of a Hen Party package booked through UKGirlThing. The staff in the spa were absolutely brilliant, a real credit to the hotel. It was so serene and relaxing, our treatments were also to a really high standard. Would definitely return. We then had a fantastic afternoon tea upstairs! Glass of fizz, choice of hot drink, sandwiches, cakes and scones. Staff that looked after us here were also brilliant. So impressed, would 100% recommend and go back.
Had 2 conferences here in a space of a week. Having not been to this part of Birmingham before I managed to navigate my way there easier enough. Ample on site parking cost was £5 for all day. On day 1 the conference room was directly opposite to the reception. Nice large room fit for purpose. Tea coffee and lunch was ok. On day 2 the conference room was immediately next to the dining room, cosy room fitted with plenty of computer sockets - just what the 10 delegates required. Tea coffee fruit juices were plentiful and lunch was absolutely much better than earlier on in the week. Overall if I had to go to another conference and it was at this particular venue I would be more than happy. Well done Marriott.
We spent one night here and thoroughly enjoyed the staff friendliness, especially our greeting at reception, the comfort of our big bed and spacious room, and the extremely quiet night. The secondary glazing and thick curtains were perfect.
Stayed here for one night to watch the Blink-182 show at Barclaycard Arena. Great location, easy walk to broad street and the venue. Was given a room on arrival at 1pm which was a nice touch. A/C was good (it was a hot day) Would recommend.
When booking this I added a note that it was for my daughter's graduation. Reception staff all signed a Congratulations card, with individual messages, which I thought was a very sweet touch. This was left with chocolates in our room. We rang for an extra pillow in the evening and someone was there within 2 minutes with one. Same with mineral water. Room and bathroom very nice - huge bath! - would definitely stay again.
We had a fab stay here. The last time i stayed here was 10 years ago on my wedding night so my husband thought it would be nice to stay here on our anniversary. On check in we were asked if we were celebrating anything which we said yes and asked for two champagne glasses. We were told they would be brought straight up to our room. 10 mins later a knock on the door and a lovely lady with our glasses and a surprise of a 2 small chocolate cakes with a message saying happy 10th anniversary it was so lovely. Perfect start to our stay. Later we had some drinks and a meal in the bar. I will say it is quite pricey but we did enjoy our food. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable the next morning we went for a swim but didnt have breakfast. I look forward to returning here again soon.
We came for a weekend in Birmingham for a birthday and my friends and I were treated really well. Great and efficient check in, lovely spa facilities and a great breakfast the following morning especially the omelette station which was a treat for all. Thank you for the hospitality and helping with our memories!
We stayed here for 1 night in a room for 2 adults and 2 children. The facilities were great and the pool was really lovely. Plenty of loungers to relax around the pool and the large jacuzzi was great. The breakfast was absolutely incredible! The quality, huge choice and friendly staff was un-beatable.
We stayed here in June while visiting edgebaston cricket ground to watch England play Australia. Hotel well positioned for the city center. Room really nice and clean. Tea and coffee facilities and also a fridge in the room. Free WiFi in our superior rooms and sky TV channels. Breakfast was excellent.
