We stayed one night. The room was very clean, the breakfast was fantastic, the staff was super friendly, was in close proximity to Bayview Hospital, and it was so nice that parking was free. Would definitely recommend.

Room was clean with many parts newly renovated however, the rest of the floor was in full renovations and they were sanding in the hallways without ventilation nor dust barriers, we exited our room to huge dust clouds, and there were open paint cans the night before which made the smell of paint overtake our room. In the future guests should not walk through dust clouds of wall sanding and have paint fumes wafting in!

The front desk staff was exceptional. On the first day November 26th it was a young man who was so pleasant and professional. Very friendly. Then on Thanksgiving there was a nice lady that was very accommodating to my needs traveling with 2 toddlers. Thank you for your hospitality during this holiday season. My family has stayed here every Thanksgiving for the past 5 years and will continue to do so.

The room itself was great. Spotless. Neither foul odors nor cleaning supply odors. Kudos to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was far better than most, but the “bold” coffee was pretty light and the scrambled eggs appeared not to have been made from fresh pastured eggs — seemed as though they came from a box -dry and tasteless. So I followed up that disappointment with a perfectly boiled egg. The hotel’s location was convenient to the expressway, but the problem was I could hear traffic.

The Hampton Inn at Bayview Campus was clean, the temperature control was accurate, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was well stocked and kept hot. Located near Greektown, there were many ethnic restaurants to choose from, some Greek but many ethnicities were represented. A Wawa's is right in front of it and pets are also welcome. Nice place and easy parking in their large lot.
