One toilet would flash unless you went inside the tank and move the floater. The TV in the 1st bedroom didn’t work. It took forever to get hot water. Very disappointed for the price we paid.😫
We booked a deluxe ocean front king room. The room was spacious with a small living room with a tv, a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and a Keurig machine, and then the bedroom with a wonderful balcony looking at the ocean with a huge flat screen tv and a wonderful comfortable bed. The hotel had a great indoor pool. However, that is where the positive comments end. The hotel was worn down and was showing its age. Our room had an infestation of ants and at night we heard a mouse scratching inside the walls. The hot water wasn’t hot but lukewarm. If you have a disability it is not as user friendly as you might imagine. The doors to the rooms were big enough for a wheel chair and getting around the hotel was easy. However, the handicapped parking was few and far between and the ramp to the hotel from the parking garage elevator was way too narrow for an electric wheel chair as part of the ramp was useless as the railing took up a quarter of the ramp. The staff while mostly friendly seemed to be very young and inexperienced and they weren’t very professional. The Schooners restaurant was bad. The decor was so dated and the menu was small. They didn’t even have some of the items on the menu. The restaurant staff was amazing and were very accommodating given their limited abilities to fix the problems. Overall it was an ok experience for visiting the beach in the winter. I would never stay here with the summer rates.
The inside could use some updating. Our room didn’t have an exhaust fan in bathroom which I found to be odd even though the room had a garbage disposal, dishwasher, stove top fridge/freezer with ice maker. Over all would stay again
The property was clean, staff was friendly, the location was great; however, the room and bathroom were outdated and need to be renovated.
Staff was very accommodating to our needs. We had an issue with our original room and when we brought it to the front desk's attention, they immediately switched us to a new room.
I liked the view from the pool to the beach. I disliked that we had to call the front desk bec room was missing tv remote in bedroom. Bathroom sink was leaking and the next day the iron was missing.
This property is dated nothing like the photos. Staff is mostly foreigners that don't speak great english. Will not visit again
Water leaking in room due to pipe burst but we were not informed of leak the hotel knew about the leak and it was leaking over electrical wires we had to bring the matter to their attention when they knew about it but didn’t inform us which jeopardize our safety
Great easy access to the beach, and lovely patio with bar and restaurant where you can enjoy the view and live music.
by the beach was the only thing to like. you offer a wine never got it! I never been in an Hotel that does not clean your room, without phone to call the front desk, you have to asked for towels, toilet paper and soap etc, elevators stinks wow after paying over $400 per nigth, its ridiculous. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
Didn’t like the 5 pm check in. Every time you called the hotel line know one answered. However, staff was pleasant when we arrived and the room was clean and spacious.
The location and view was the selling point
Clean a little more and outdated and have a weird smell on every floor
No phone in room, TV's not set properly. The pricing was very high! The staff very friendly.
Pictures advertise made this hotel much nicer than it really was. First off there was no telephone to connect to the front desk. They had a business card with a number on it to the front desk. Second we asked for bath towels and they gave us floor towels because apparently they didn’t have anymore bath towels available. If you needed to charge your phone, good luck trying to find n outlet. Not to mention and beds were rock hard and super uncomfortable to sleep on. If you needed to use the woman’s restroom by the pool, you could forget it. It was under construction yet they had no sign displaying that. No chair amenities if you wanted to go to the beach, which you would think is included because your in the beach. It was a nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel ever. I will be sticking to my Marriott from now on.
