First of they moved the front desk from the front to the back of the property. It's was very confusing to find. Then when you do there's not enough space for but maybe one car to check in at a time. There's no where near enough parking spaces. The front desk staff was very nice. They did let us check in early. The rooms are OK. The beds weren't that comfortable. They hadn't cleaned out the fridge from the previous people. The 2 pools were nice and so was the workout room. Are stay was OK, but next time we will stay somewhere else.

Stayed here about 5 years ago and the hotel wasn't too bad but this time around it just looked old and a little run down. My friends and I stayed in a suite and while the beds were clean the floor was pretty dirty as well as there were scuff marks on the walls and the couch was destroyed. I would stay again only if the rooms are updated.

Good location rooms are clean but they can do better no body want to see hair on the bathroom floor or on the bed sheets

For the price and location you can't beat this hotel! Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, stayed in 2 King room with a view of ocean from the side, so happy we chose to stay here! Perfect for family with kids!

We checked in late so the parking was full and had to park about two blocks away in a dark empty lot and walk two blocks back to the hotel. The room was dingy and hot. The ac wasn't working so we had to sleep with the balcony door open to get some air. The balcony door wouldn't shut properly. It took two of us to get it shut. There was one cheap plastic chair for the balcony but it was inside the room because there was no table or any sort of sitting furniture inside the room. The outlet next to the bed didn't even have an outlet cover on it. The linens and curtains had cigarette burns on them. The floor was so dirty that we wore footwear the entire time and there were even ants in the room. They did fix the ac the next day after the request was made. The voicemail light on the phone constantly flashed but the hotel covered the light with tape to help minimize it (eye roll). The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location to the boardwalk.

we were promised a beach view and got a partial view. We were very disappointed by this. Then the second night we were there our air conditioning broke , so they moved us to a different room which was the room we were supposed to get when we got there (beach view) !!!

Noisy, no staff at lobby desk. Have to go next door

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was ok but has extremely outdated rooms but when you walk the halls you notice that they appear to have been updated. I think you should worry about the rooms more then the hallway. The air condition had to be set at a certain temperature and if you went below that it would freeze up. Well I had it set on 70 and it still froze up after stating not to set it below or it would freeze. I did love that it was right on the boardwalk close to everything.

Ocean City is always a wonderful place to visit.

The title says it all. I have to be that not picky to find a single thing wrong with the hotel. It was amazing and clean and just wonderful.

The room was disgusting. There was dirt smudges all over the walls, the shades had splatter of something all over them, there was someone's hair all wrapped up in the bath towels, the clock didn't work, the door didn't lock properly, the toilet would flush 3 times every time you flushed it and the bed was like sleeping on concrete. Don't stay here. It's sleazy and not that cheap for what you get. Pay the extra and stay at a nicer hotel.

Convenient location, room was big and spacious but reminded me of a spring break hotel. Good for just a night or 2

The staff was great. I went with a good female friend of mine and I got the suite which gave us our own space. We were very comfortable. Rooms were clean but u expect some sand or wet stairways or hallways since it is right on the beach. Great food all around. Recommend the tap house. Pool bar staff Brittney and state were amazing and the front desk staff were very awesome too. I would live there if I could.

I stayed with family for the weekend. All in all Tidelands Caribdean Hotel is an okay place. It wasn't what I expected, not what it looks like in the pictures, but I guess you're paying for the location, which was right on the boardwalk. So yes I would recommend it.

Tidelands Caribbean Hotel and Suites in Ocean City .md I cheated made a payment for a partial ocean view Suite and check in time at 4 pm I attended at 4:20 the room was not clean and I moved to a suite overlooking the street where you looked only veiculos with Check in 3pm is already an hour lost and will not reimburse the difference is 100 dollars the bath area of the picina was out of service I could not change clothes to return to my house and my family went wet us that the bathroom was sawed

Room was big, two king size beds. Freezer didn't work and one day they put signs up saying the water would be turned off from 12 pm to 3 pm for minor repairs (?!). Pools were much smaller than pictured.

We booked for the location and were not disappointed. Room and linens were clean and no mold was evident as some previous reviews had stated. The pool area was not as well maintained. The water was cloudy and the edge of the pool had not been scrubbed in some time. Pool bar prices were very fair and all staff we encountered was polite and accommodating. We would stay again!

Not a bad hotel for the price. I made the mistake of going super cheap a year or so ago and vowed never to do that again. I remember it being alot nicer when I stayed there in the late 90s early 2000s. But this time I stayed in the building that is closest to the beach. 16years of ageing might be the cause. I know they have nicer rooms I booked the two queen room. Noticed a few old pretzel rods behind the dresser and a stain in the tub but other thsn that no issues. Staff was very polite and friendly. Would stay again for the right price.

We arrived the first weekend of Oct with pretty low expectations, considering reviews I have read. Consider us pleasantly surprised when we were able to check in a bit early and be given a room that was very clean. Location of this hotel is perfect on the boards. The only problem we had - the room key kept getting messed up, so we had to have them constantly replaced (might have been us messing them up). Would I go back - absolutely
