We stayed over Mother's day weekend and really enjoyed the entire experience.

Realizing that this was "off season" I should have been told that work was being done to three sliding doors during my visit. The banging, drilling and hammering drove me out of the room for hours. Better yet, since the hotel wasn't full maybe you should have moved me to another room? This ruined an otherwise very enjoyable and peaceful visit.

Great price for a hotel right in the heart of ocean city.

Very nice staff, easy parking, great amenities, clean room. I have stayed there many times and will again.

The hotel staff were very nice, hotel checkin is suppose to be at 4p but room was not ready for at least 1/2 hr. Went into the spa pool area and the pool was disgusting, rust in pool also hot tub had an old rusty lift chair and rust in the hot tub. Not very appealing .

A little dated but no issues and great for price. Stayed for a weekend getaway and to hike around assateague. Breakfast buffet was excellent for price.

Nice check-in experience and indoor pool. The room was spacious with a mini-fridge and microwave, but the beds and linens were uncomfortable.

We stayed there for two nights but ended up with colds. My son was first with horrendous coughing fits that lasted for hours. When he made himself vomit my husband ended up sleeping with him in our Van. Got cold symptoms the next day and didn't stay another night for my son's sake. This is the second time we've been there and have received colds both times. Not going again. Tired of coming home sick.

As nice as one could expect at that price point late in the summer. Rooms were clean, if dated. It's on the beach. Parking was included and there was plenty. You'll end up driving to most things like Phillips or the Boardwalk.

We were there for a 3 night weekend. It was a great decision to chose the Carousel Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, there were plenty things for the kids to do. I definitely recommend this hotel, and we will be there again next year.

I booked a 3 night stay in July 2016 through Orbitz and I thought I got a very good deal considering that the nightly rate is not cheap. When we arrived we were told that our room had no balcony, however that is not what I booked through Orbitz. The front desk told me they couldn't help me because there were no rooms available for three nights with a balcony and I had to speak to an Orbitz rep to get anything changed. The room was like a small dark box, it was dirty, and the bathroom was small with a broken hair dryer placed on top of the sink counter. Needless to say we were very upset and disappointed. I then called Orbitz to get help and spent the next 2 and 1/2 hours to get this fixed. The hotel miraculously had a room with a city view balcony...exactly what I had originally booked! It was upsetting to drive all this way and then spend hours trying to make corrections. In the end it all worked out but it did put a damper on things.

Perfect place to stay. Clean. STAFF is very friendly and hard workers!

The room was a nice size except the bathroom. I was unable to open the door as it hit the toilet. The living part was large. They could have extended the bathroom a bit and it would have been better.

The hotel needs renovations it is a bit dated. The elevator and lobby area needs to be better designed

Staff was friendly. Ice skating rink was awesome! Rooms were very plain and uncomfortable. We had a good time though.

me and my fiancé booked this hotel for a final summer getaway. Checking in was quick and easy, our room was very clean and comfortable. I was frustrated however with the fact that the pool now closes at 7, I remember in previous visits awhile back that it closed at 10 at night so that was disappointing. It was light outside and essentially hotel amenities are trying to close down which was a surprise. The snack bar had good food but was very unorganized. Took us 15 minutes to get fries and the waiters were arguing about whose food was whose so it seemed very unprofessional. There is a language barrier since they hire a lot of foreign exchange students over the summer at many places in once an city but the staff was overall enjoyable. Would also have been nice if they had more elevators. Only 2 for a span of 11 floors, also heard other people who were staying complain about the same thing. Good location on the beach and the nail salon in the plaza across the street was awesome. Overall it was a nice hotel and I would return again.

Hotel was okay. We were charged twice for the room

We only stayed 2 days of a 3 day reservation (by choice)... we mistakenly left 5 pieces of clothing in the room (value approx. $125), we called the next morning and every subsequent day for more than a week (1-2 times a day at various times). Housekeeping found our clothing they day we checked out and told Security, but they never turned it in. Seems to be no Manager on staff no matter what day of the week or hour of the day you call. We forgot our items, but they were found... why wouldn't you just send them back when we were going to pay for return mail service? Never again.

The hotel was nice, but the rooms are dated and a bit worn. This was our first time in Ocean City, MD and we did have a great time. The hotel has a lot of great stuff for kids including an ice rink, three pools, ice cream/snack shop, game room, pirate ship playground, and a bounce house! The hotel also has a great outdoor bar and grill and nice indoor restaurant. The rooms are big and basically comfortable but as I said it needs some updating!
