Flagship Oceanfront Hotel

I booked an OCEAN VIEW ROOM. When I arrived at the hotel, my ocean view was looking at walls. Never again

The staff was extremely rude, the facilitys are ran down really really bad, theirs a lot of thing's that are neglected throughout hotel. Room was not really that bad but with the women at the front desk (day and night shift) being very rude it made stay extremely disappointing. Women at front desk shouldn't have a job. The house keeping lady the day of check out was a pleasant surprise after dealing with other staff! She was so friendly to me, my wife and my daughter. I truly think very highly of her and believe it would be wise to keep her employed and give a raise, and tell her she made a very lasting impression on me and my family. Also recommend hiring more personal just like her and getting rid of the other staff members except the night shift gentlemen at the front desk he was extremely respectful and friendly as well and was the complete opposite of the other front staff personal!

Very bad experience, some staff are so rude. Need to be more professional with the customer we are paying to have a good costumer service, the building smell so bad and is very old, from outside look new from inside is very old. Hope manager do some improvement staring with the staff and the building thank you

Be prepared to drive around for 15 minutes looking for parking. I went in September, I can't imagine what it's like in regular season. Refrigerator is small, not large enough for an efficiency in my opinion. You cant roll your luggage to the room on a cart because there are multiple stairs to traverse. I had to have a hotel person lift the cart up and down stairs. Thin walls, (my next door neighbor was upset that her sister was going back to her boyfriend who does not sound like a nice guy at all.) and finally, be careful on the balcony because the sliding door locks behind you sometimes. The latch just slips down on its own.

Rooms were decent but very old looking. Beds had sheets for blankets and the beds were very short and uncomfortable. Also the music outside was extremely loud and could here it until about 12 pm. This would be a decent place for young singles looking to party at a cheap hotel but I have been coming to ocean city for about 20 years and this hotel is worse than any hotel or motel I have ever stayed in anywhere. Oh and don't forget it's dog friendly so it didn't smell too good either.

This is the second year we have stayed at The Flagship. Last year we stayed on the north end in a deluxe efficiency, we had no complaints. This year we were on the south side of the building. The only difference between the rooms was a newly remodled bathroom. Our room had 2 double beds, flat screen TV, coffer maker, fridge, microwave and electric stove and single bowl sink. Plates silverware and cooking items are provided along with dish soap and towels. Free wifi is also available. Our room was clean when we arrived, and the lights and TV were left on so we did not have to come into a dark room just one of the nice things about this hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive to any of our needs. Very helpful and all their recommendations were spot on. The hotel is older but very well maintained. We always look forward to being on the boardwalk, and enjoying being so close to the ocean. This hotel has a room for everyone's budget. There is an inside pool, hot tub and exercise room. The lobby has hot beverages at all times along with a variety of fresh fruit. I would definitely recommend the Flagship to anyone who is looking for a clean, spacious room on the boardwalk, with friendly service.

I stayed there for the Sunfest, the View from our room was great, the staff was friendly. The game room was nice and the indoor pool was wonderful. I will definetly come back here, and have already told all my friends about this hotel. it was good that the Tram was right next door to the hotel, it was more than I had hoped for.

Staff friendly but parking could be better enforced. No trailers during bike week should mean no trailers. Then everyone would ave a place to park intsead of some ***people taking more than their fair share of parking spots and leaving us in a lurch! Have stayed here before and not had this problem, so I blame current staff for not enforcing the rules.

The :Location was very good however the ad said ocean view room which was very deceiving because when we looked out the sliding glass door we saw the other rooms with balcony as the view, we called front desk and the answer was, ' you need to walk out to the balcony to see the ocean if you wanted to see the ocean directly we needed to request for an ocean front view instead Like I said very deceiving, they offer fruits that were very old, only change the towels daily but not the bed sheets. If your looking for a nice adult getaway I would not recommend this hotel.

Staff seems to be rude. Kitchen is very small. Beds are not good. Parking is far away from your hotel location. Elevator is outdated. TV is outdated. I booked ocean view room.. But what I got was a room where you can see ocean only after you go to your balcony along with other balconies. Privacy is completely gone due to attached balconies. Hallway smells like anything. At any point, you are guaranteed to hear some pounding noise in any direction. Overall other than location, hot tub, nothing is good in this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, not too secluded with neighbors all around. Friendly and helpful staff.Long walk to our room from the elevator. Nice pool and sauna.

Worth the price one of the only hotels I saw that had a 10ft deep outdoor pool plus a 24hr indoor pool. Rooms need to be updated but suit its purpose.

Overall hotel was nice, the downside is lack of breakfast, but the have coffee n tea available 24/7 and some fruits, so ok Location is awesome, close to boardwalk n stores. Friendly staff, willing to help, clean room,

For a quick 1 or 2 night stay it's not bad. People in rooms next door could be easily heard though. If I had to stay longer then a night or 2 I would look elsewhere.

Good hotel for the price. Nice view of the ocean. Walking distance to a lot of restaurant and boardwalk.

Alot of amenities and very clean. Staff very friendly

No matter where you stay, you will have a blast.OC is one of the best beaches ever and so much fun, whether you are with single friends or in a bachelorette party.

You can't beat the location of this hotel, especially for the price. Sure, it's not brand new and the beds aren't the most comfortable, but it serves the purpose of sleeping...after all, there's so much to do in the area you won't spend much time in the room anyway. Decent free parking for one car per room. We also got a free room upgrade, which was nice!

I enjoyed my overnight stay there. I appreciated that even after we checked out that we still were able to use the hotel facilities for the rest of the day.

Parking was terrible, small lots that have to be backed out of. The staff were friendly but the hotel layout was awkward and there is only one elevator located at the front of the hotel. It's a relatively inexpensive place to stay so if that's the goal it's worth it but if you're looking for a cozy place to spend your family vacation, pick somewhere else.
