The building had some “old school” flair, but the staff and accommodations were a complete disaster. Being told “we hope to have the room you paid for WELL in advance would be available for you when you arrived”, but still NOTHING HOURS later. No communication and a crap room. And now my wife is pissed because we lost SO MUCH TIME dealing with the hotel… uh.

Walking distance to the Harbour. The property was generally run down. Tub didnt drain fast enough. Tub dripped. Bathroom sink was cracked. Bathroom floor was dirty/stained. Wallpaper was peeling. Comforter had what I hope was a ketchup stain, they ha to launder it as they didnt have any extra comforters. Room key machine didnt work for the 1st day we were there.

Needed to be updated ac units were kind of.....

Kids not happy there was no pool

Mediocre, the location is prime...

I had a nice view of the harbor and the room was big

complimentary breakfast was not what I expected...we received a boxed breakfast that included a box apple juice n a muffin

Great hotel within the inner harbor. Close to everything.

From the time we checked in to the time we left, the STAFF was Wonderful!!! Shawnette at the front desk, sent us a Bottle of Wine, because we were Celebrating our 42nd Anniversary...so sweet, nice person, the Valet was terrific!! Then we decided to stay another night, they let us see a few rooms, before we settled on one...So Lakeisha, the housekeeping supervisor, sent us a Bottle of Champagne, with Ice and Glasses!! Our experience at McCormick and Smick, was a different story...spent almost $200. and had HORRIBLE SERVICE and the food was NOT up to par!!!

Staff is wonderful. Lobby is cool and great happy hour.

The hotel was very convenient to all the important tractions in downtown as well as being a short hop skip and jump to Johns Hopkins. I plan to stay there again in a couple weeks when I come back!

I want to start off by saying that I travel all over the country and the Pier 5 by far is probably my favorite place to stay and vacation at. I have now stayed there 5+ times since 2007. The service is second to none, rooms are beautiful, the location is perfect and located only steps from the National Aquarium, easily accessable, they offer amazing packages, and their daily happy hour with complimentary culinary demonstrations is something we always look forward to. I guarantee and put my credibility down that you will love tbis place and come back again and again.
